Been trying all day to get this 4gb usb stick to a bootable windows 7 iso..

Everytime it gets to the autorun.inf file it errors "extraction iso error"

Rufus is supposed to work well but fucking hell can I find info on how to resolve this, turned off anti virus etc and it still wont extract from the iso to the usb stick - formats fine though.

this is sickening beyond, all I wanna do is get this sodding install on this UEFI system.

Maybe the .ISO file itself is fucked up, maybe got corrupted along the way? Trying downloading different version?

I usually use WinUSB Maker, maybe try that.

I grabbed it earlier again and same issue, i can copy it directly as a whole file or even extracted but when it extracts via making it bootable with the rufus tool whatever it fails...

winUSB maker hmm ok ill take a look and thanks its giving me headache now.
