Erm what? You said you didn't want to invest money/time in console. In reality it's quite simple, hence me saying that if you really want to get one you would.

200USD is money and messing around with buying/selling second hand is time consuming.
If anything you just strengthened my original argument.
If I'd really want a Porsche I'd also get one, only that would also cost time and/or money.
My argument was/is that both the console(s), it's exclusive games, the pricing and it's controls (which are bad for first/third person shooters and just horrible for strategy games) are not enough for me (this is a personal opinion, not a fact) to get one. Hence I would rather get something else, for example something for the computer. And that's also why if a game doesn't come out on PC and only on consoles I'd rather not know about it.
I haven't owned a console since the NES, other than getting a Wii together with my girlfriend so we can play games together. Because after the PS2 prices have gone up so much that I can't justify a purchase for what I want it to do, which is to play games (I really don't care about it having a blu-ray, LAN streaming ftw, nor that it can be used as a media-center, HTPC does that much better as well).
And now with this generation of consoles where they want to make into a living-room ornament well smack me silly and call me betty but all I'd ever want to do on consoles was to play games, not to operate my kitchen sink with it.

Actually some sellers provide free delivery to where you wish to get the car from. And this can be your house you know.

Rockstar are using the same techniques as Brezhnev, only subtler. We're clearly on the edge, only a few more months left and our last piece of sanity will break. This thread is the proof of all this.
It's not easy, but we need to be strong guys. We don't want them console users to see us freak out so easily, in this semi-comatose state, we have a dignity to preserve goddammit.
We're definitely better then this, we can't go nuts just because a consolish game doesn't get ported to the PC. That means being weak, spineless...we're from the masterrace ffs! We have plenty of alternatives and badass exclusives anyway.
Let's be honest here, who cares about GTA when there are Company of Heroes 2, Rome 2, X-Rebirth and Simcity waiting for us. And I didn't even mention all the dozens of awesome MMOs and Mobas, all fresh and innovative with REAL gameplay, not popamole gamepad stuff for couches and living roms with grandmas and housewives.
