Assassin's Creed 4 - 7
Nice graphics but I thought the gameplay got boring and repetitive quickly. The move to an open world was nice though, and I liked the sense of discovery.
I hated the forced 'real life' segments since all you do is run around with a tablet. At least when you played as Desmond in the older games you could climb around and explore.

The Stanley Parable - 9 - finished it 5 minutes ago. (If you can call this game finished) -
I don't think I can put this into words, this needs to be played in order to be understood.

Batman - Arkham Origins - 7.5 /10
Best story out of all the Arkham trilogy with some frantic boss battles, but with a somewhat bland gameplay.
Brothers - A tale of two sons - 9.5/10
This game was beautiful on every level, from its story and gameplay to the whole ambient and the living and breathing world that it creates. It is also the very definition of ludonarrative consonance, without spoiling anything, I loved the way in which the controls weren't just a means for the player to interact with the gameworld but also an important and powerful aspect of the story that was able to immerse me in the environment like no other game before.
The Bridge - 8/10
An underrated puzzle game that I purchased on Steam a few months ago, but only recently got around to play it, it may not be as groundbreaking as some other indie titles released this year but i loved every second of it.

The Walking Dead Season 1
Started out as 9/10, but I'd only give it 7.5/10 in the end. Regardless, a fantastic experience and outstanding storytelling.
Otherwise, I hardly ever finish games nowadays, as I get bored halfways the latest...

Gothic 2 Gold 8/10
Eh... the "fan requested balance" put me of a lot. It seemed something that was more adequate for a second playthrough and in some places really poorly balanced (oh you spent LP getting trophies? Well guess what, those ain't worth shit if you're a merc or a paladin!).
Also some minor stuff (I will now bestow upon you the best armor ever... that everyone else was already wearing in the previous chapter ) place it below the original for me.

Civilization V - 8/10
Liked the 4th installment of this series better, but it's still as addictive and fun. Game said I was a Winrar but I'm still going until every inch of land is mine!
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
9/10
Just a fantastic looking game and beautiful story. Gets an extra point for grabbing my attention from start to finish.
Finished a few more the past weeks but I'll stick to the ones from the past days

Nice thread.
Assassins Creed 4
8.5/10
Best AC since the 2nd entry. Long game with lots of side stuff to keep you busy, can get a bit tiresome by the end. Still, fun game with hours upon hours of things to do.

Splinter Cell Blacklist - 8.5 / 10
Not as good as my favourite (Chaos Theory) but definitely better than Conviction, which I never bothered to finish. Enjoyed it quite a bit.
I'd rate the ones I played as follows: Chaos Theory > Blacklist >= Double Agent > Conviction.

Long Live The Queen - 5/10
It was fun, but Magical Diary for example was a lot better. This one gets repetitive too fast, exploring the choices and consequences was fun for a while but after you figure out what's what, there's really not much to do.
Shadowrun Returns - 8/10
I enjoyed this one throuoghly. It could've been a lot more though, some more side quests, an open world and real choices & consequences would've made this an instant classic. Maybe the expansion pack...

Batman: Arkham Origins: 7/10
Game tries too hard to be like City, with quirky combat and awkward level design. Still Batman though - but unless the next game uses a new game engine and introduces something different to the core gameplay, could end up being another Ass Creed milking machine.

Wow, the last game I completed was Volgarr: the viking.
I loved the game to death. It was tough and fun at the same time.
I played similar games in game rooms in the 90's on old consoles that greedy old pedo bears rented in dark shady buildings, so naturally some nostalgia was present, but the game was still fantastic.
Minus points for being short, having a rushed and much easier final level and not having online coop.
87/100
Hoping tonite im done with thief 3 and ill review that, since i'm nearing the cradle that people always yap about

AssFlag - 8/10
Great game that takes quite a few liberties with the franchise but they really need to work out a fix for the free running not going where the player wants it to.

Great idea Areius
These are some of the games that I finished in the last days (thank you based holiday time). IMO, Inc
Dementium II HD - 5/10
Straight port from the DS version, with only a lick of paint and glitches that are scarier than the monsters themselves. It has some pleasant surprise motherfucker moments here and there, but the uber-simplistic gameplay and repetitiveness killed my horror boner.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - 8,5/10
Incredibly charming, and the first game ever where I can't complain about the excessive hand-holding.
Shadow Warrior - 7/10
It was incredible at first, then very good, then okay, then holy shit another room to clear I can take it anymore. Thankfully the coherent story held all the pieces together despite the overly attached demons.
Dead Space 3 - 5,5/10
How to ruin a franchise: chapter III by Professor EA Itsinthegame
Dead Island Riptide - 7,5/10
Random blokes vs ratbags, part second. Call it expansion, more of the same, lazy product..but if you liked Dead Island you'll most likely enjoy this one too.

The list of games I started but didnt finish are endless..BUT last game i FINISHED (as of 2 hours ago) for the 50th time:
Fallout: New Vegas GOTY edition
8.5/10 I just love the atmosphere and the story (preferred the location of FO3 though) won't get a 10 because of CONSTANT crashes. graphics might be meh but this game is all about vast plains and exploring to your heart's content.... lost another half mark because very quickly you can level up your player and everything seems to become rather easy...
