I thought the combat was just as good as the previous games. The gloves are indeed very powerful, but thankfully they didn't ruin the flow for me. The other gadgets like the remote claw/remote grapple and glue bombs were a nice addition in my opinion, they made the gameplay a lil' bit more various, too (even in combat, if you're quick enough, that is).

Ground takedowns on the other hand can be tricky indeed at times, but they always work if you perform them right after the critical hit (and I've used M/KB as well) -> although you need to do it when there aren't other enemies around or they'll break the combo of course. Maybe I've been lucky, or maybe I managed to adapt very well.. but honestly I've never been "annoyed" by severe glitches/problems in this game. Everything went -surprisingly- smoothly Razz

I was not talking about skill or any awareness.

If you happen to play the game on the KB+M you will have SEVERAL bugs (there's a huge thread about that on the main wb forums).

- Sometimes when you try to counter Batman will try to aim a gadget
- Ground takedown WILL NOT WORK.
- Critical Strike wont work because of the left mouse registering 2 clicks.

If you THINK that those bugs did not happen to you, then you are not trying to do critical strikes and counter-criticals.

Simple field test:

ONLY ON KB/M
Stun someone with your Cape (Middle Mouse)
Give him ONE punch (One left Click) you will see that Batman will give two punchs.

Quickfire KB/M
Try to use the mine from deathstroke.

I don't think I've had that problem with Batman throwing two punches after using the cape stun but I'll have to check again now that you mention it.

@rubim I did lots of critical strikes and counters in every fight Razz But yeah, I've played every Batman game with my gamepad, so I wouldn't know about those kb/m problems Wink

I played all Batman games with kb&m (can't stand playing with a gamepad in a Batman or AC game) and it works just fine, I think it works even better than in AC.

It actually works perfect.

While in AC a gamepad might make sense (but only due to poor mouse/kb implementation - lousy mouse acceleration and sensitivity), all Batman games worked flawless here with good ol' PC controls. Very Happy

Neon that's bullshit, get Death Stroke and try to use the quickfire mine gadget.

Just do that little experiment that i said, stun a guy and try to do a single punch on him. You may think: Why the hell would i want to do a single punch? For criticals you silly. Just try to get 5 criticals in a row without resorting to the vault over bug.

In AC all Gadgets worked like intended. How can you say that it's work better if im showing you that it doesn't.

I usually play with Gamepad as i said earlier, but i like to use Multi Batarang, Glue Granade etc...

Did anyone have issues with vga overclock? it´s the only game that crashes hard when I oc my vga.

Saved this game to play it during the holidays. So just started it up and played a bit but the game sometimes just freezes at randomly points (during cutscenes, while in game or even in the pauze menu). When i alt+tab to the desktop and back in game it works again but only for a few minutes untill the next freeze Crying or Very sad Sad

Tried to do the AllowD3D11/AllowD3D10 trick in the ini file and let the game force to use Dx9 using the launch parameter in steam but without luck Sad
