The eternal question: will it playable with mouse and kb Razz

i think it's quite impossible to play with, because of the slashing and combo mix you need to do to keep you alive at hard setting.

yea, playing this game, or bayonetta, dmc1+3 on a kb is like playing an rts on a gamepad.
you may get used to it on lower or normal setting, but on higher difficulties goodbye.

that depends on how bad/good they implement it , nothing more.
It can work great if properly implemented
BTW: I have even seen guy to beat dmc3 on hard on keyboard Wink

nothing is impossible, its just alot tougher on a keyboard.
i just prefer to play a game the way it was meant to/ works best with,
fps and rts - kb + mouse
dmc-esque action adventures - gamepad.

I played through DMC3 with mouse+keyboard, granted I never tried it on the highest difficulty levels, didn't do too well with combos either but I made it through the game. Smile

I'll just assign most useful combos to my 20-buttons mouse and I am golden Reaction

Up until recently I thought I won't even try this with mouse and keyboard, so why care?! However, I realized that if properly implemented it might be better since it does actually have a proper camera which I completely forgot and the whole slicey thingy system! I'm curious now, so I will try mouse and keyboard first. Smile

yeah, the joypad is a pain in the ass for the slice&dice feature but i'm worried about the combos and especially for the parry.

About five hours left (Steam rounds up or how to say and you don't see the minutes, only hours.) it's using a single unlock time (19.00 CES I think it would be.) and there's no retail release as far as I know so it all depends on when Steam unlocks the game so it can be downloaded or decrypted for those who already pre-loaded the game. Smile

Well that there is the reason why it's released so late for us over here in Europe, it follows the daily Steam update schedule. Smile
(Then again it's probably better to have a release when Valve has their employees present and available should anything happen, scheduled releases during midnight could lead to problems like if I remember correctly one game had a beta version released accidentally although I don't remember what the game was.)

dmc games have always been 60 fps, except for that new juvenile one thats not really dmc.

It's getting to the point where I think it'd be faster to re d/l the game than wait on the decrypting. Sheesh. So slow.

Visuals are rather poor but it's 60 FPS (30 in cutscenes but they are pre-rendered.) full support for mouse and keyboard control with re-bindable keys. Smile

Here's some screens, starts with some of the menus and then the tutorial VR simulation, after that a cutscene shot and finally a few gameplay screens. Smile

EDIT: They got scrambled for some reason, renamed them and tried again.

You can set language to Japanese (Shows in symbols.) but you can not set a separate voice and text localization.

EDIT: Also 16:9 and 16:10 are supported but 1920x1080 is indeed max so for me that means 16:9 instead of 1920x1200 16:10 native.

EDIT: Profile save data and settings are stored under C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\MGR\SaveData unfortunately they can't be edited normally since it's not in plain text.
(So no forcing a higher resolution that way.)
