So I can't seem to play this anymore, since I 'upgraded' to Win 8.1, I'm getting a black screen just after the opening intro logo after starting a new game. Seems this issue isn't just me, yet I cannot find any solution.

Maybe the Hump Overmind could help? Pffchh

Edit: Just noticed this was asked a page back... This is for the Steam release, so is a complete reinstall the only known fix then?

GMG states:
Quote:
All Season Pass content will be available for individual purchase by March 2014.

so its likely to be out in March

Good thing I didn't play the first DLC then, I think I'll just wait for all of them to come out.
Episodic gaming is a shit trend that needs to go away, the usual case is that there's multiple months waiting period between each episode (TWD,TWAU,This.) and that's just not fine by me.

So... like you said, if you'd rather not wait between then just wait for the last one. I don't see it as a trend, it's just Telltale's way of doing things, the others are just 2 dlc's on top of the main game. And it certainly has it's advantages.

BioShock Infinite’s next story DLC, Burial at Sea – Episode 2, will last up to six hours on a completionist run through, according to a tweet from Ken Levine. This news should please those who found the first episode at bit short; even exploring thoroughly, it was only a couple of hours long.

Wish I would have picked up that $5 Season Pass when it was on sale on Steam as I just got a copy of the game recently.

Finally something meaty, that's more like it. As much as I liked Episode 1, it really felt short, in a "hey I'm having fu..*the end*" way Razz

I hate endings half way through. Valve did a decent job with the episodes, then they felt it wasn't done or missing something or... They came up with a better idea and skipped the episodes all together. But I seriously hate waiting for continuing story DLC's. Bah!

I wish Valve never started this trend Sad

I still haven't beaten the first episode, decided to wait for the 2nd one to come out so I could just go ahead and beat it in one sitting. I hope this does not disappoint.

Looks good, I hope it's a bit better than episode 1 cause I was quite disappointed with it. Sad
But this looks like it's going to be an ace experience. ^_^

or maybe he's tired of not doing what he wants and how he wants it, because of limits, restrictions, outside pressure/influence..

Games that are driven by the narrative are not known for being particularly suited for replays. I wonder what he's talking about.

Today, in conjunction with the upcoming DLC, BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode Two releasing March 25th, we’re revealing the brand new 1998 Mode, which challenges gamers to complete the narrative using only non-lethal tools. This mode will be in addition to existing difficulty modes.

“In Burial at Sea – Episode Two we put a focus on balance and stealth mechanics,” said Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. “As we were developing this new style of gameplay, we started to see people self-impose non-lethal playthrough’s. Given the fan reception of 1999 Mode, we thought it would be cool to give them another way to play Burial at Sea that challenged their mastery of stealth tools.”

We look forward to seeing our fans attempt to conquer 1998 Mode in BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode Two, utilizing the new stealth-oriented gameplay as you take on the role of Elizabeth, and see the world through her eyes.
