Wait, wait, wait... so, am I understanding this correctly?
Collector's Edition gives you the Imperials, which are also not bound by the factions?
And if you pre-order, you'll not bound by factions with your race pick in general (even with normal edition)?
Ontop of that, you obviously pay for the game itself and have to sub (which is imho the way it should be, still, for MMOs in general) but they're also adding a fucking ingame shop too?
This game is the anti-christ... that shit is so wrong on so many levels.

pretty sure you have to pick a side and stick with it. Only difference is, that you can chose any side at char creation with an Imperial.
That being said, i've zero motivation to even play this game anymore lol. Yeah i got a bit hyped when i first played it, but it turned out to by my annual craving for some MMORPG. but now since i am back playing AoC ... this game is really just so much lol compared to it (or any mmo i played before).
It's all so light weight and .. i don't know the word for it ...
There seems to be no depth or anything. Anyway, i stick with AoC for the moment, at least until i can get into the Anarchy Online Engine beta (which is currently running yes yes).
just glad i didn't fall for it and bought the CE this time lol.
I just at ppl that claimed it was gonna be the savior of the mmo universe. It looked bland and shallow since the beginning. But well, nothing like hands-on to open ppl's eyes

It's always a pleasant sensation when a MMO fails. Thankfully this happens very often, and never gets old
There are some on this forum. And i know between my friends a lot of ppl that quit every mmo they were playing waiting for this piece of crap, hyped out of their asses.
I just hope this one bombs hard, so they just stop this nonsense. I still can't believe that EA lost the KOTOR franchise cause of an mmo (i say lost it cause it's gonna be hard to continue the story after all the lore introduced in SWTOR), and now this crap with TES.
I don't remember anyone overtly liking this at any point here. There are always the ever-optimist (and somewhat insufferable ) "hm, looks nice, could be cool " types, but even they went away after some videos were shown.
I don't play MMO's much, general unfocussed misanthropy likely causes unspecific aversion to multiplayers but I thought I'd give this one a burl because. . .because. . . I dunno.
I realise this is a very unhip admission here in Feb 2014, but I did enjoy playing Skyrim a lot, so that is prolly why I downloaded what felt like several terabytes of code.
For what? The game is about as challenging as loosing a ripper of a stench after a night of stale beer and rotten figs.
I don't feel at all attached to the blind old bugger who I'm meant to revere, I certainly can't be faffed to protect him. Most of the quests have that same air of detachment from anything I may hold important.
Oh and it's too easy did I say that.
I get pretty critical of the way we all sledge a game as soon as it gets released here at the hump, 'n nowadays I try to avoid joining the hate brigades which form, cause in many cases they feel as shallow as the fanboi 'posses' but this game is not a worthwhile way of wasting a coupla weeks of my existence upon.
Running around tripping over peeps who are runnin around trippin over me feels pointless -- it is pointless.

Welcome to MMO's.
Hell, welcome to games. Half the time people watch me play games they go, "what's the point?" Usually it's personal satisfaction. Well, applied to MMO's it's personal satisfaction geared towards other people (whether working together or overcoming them). I understand you didn't state that philosophically so much as to say the game seems pointless, but still...what isn't pointless in the vacuous world in which we currently dwell?
That being said...I'm on the fence about the game, although I had it pre-ordered a whiles back after my first beta. I actually had a pretty bad impression of the game and posted to the effect that it'd probably need a year after release to get its shit together. While I'm more favorable after more testing (they got their shit together on crafting and the voice-acting after both being incomplete, at least), it's still going to need a lot of work and time to get there. I'm willing to enjoy it as a SP game and see how things pan out in the meantime, but the burden is on them to fulfill.
i also have spare key: 5G9AH3JADJFC4EDLE9HD
and... this game is horrible. its like Skyrim was put into Lineage II grind rails.
huge boring world, like in Kingdom of Amalur. do not want.
where is my TES VI / F4 ?
Which didn't really work either. I ran the uninstall exe in the TESO folder and ... it didn't uninstall the "The Elder Scrolls Online" folder (which is the 30gb of data).

Thanks mate, I grabbed the key.
Giving this game one last chance to see how they progressed since the last Beta.
Combat was my main issue then, I wonder if they made it more fluid.

odd.
I see the hate train has joined the thread. No need to keep repeating your dislike of this game. If you don't like it fine, but shut up. Kids nowadays....
