Same shit diffrent year, PES 1 -5 are exact same thing .. not only that all PES/WE series are exact same shit, and its been proven, not only that the graphics are behind 10 years.
I always hated both Fifa and PES games because they ... well sucked, but this year EA despite my hate towards them actually did manage to bring something close to football with Fifa 2006, but sorry PES is nowhere near football.

So not talking about pes cuz i didnt play that often enough.
But did you actually play fifa 06?
That is the worst joke called goali ive seen in years.
Also when you for example have a freekick from the middle of the field there will be about 1-2 players in the offence if you do a long kick.
And the goals are just hilarious.
I would really laugh if it wasnt so sad that such goals happen once in 3 games.
Also the advantage when there was a foul is a bad joke, sometimes the referee suddenly calles a foul after giving the advantage for no reason or the opponent shoots and if the ball goes of target he gets a free kick.
And for the fact that ea also develops a manager game it should be much easier to see the interesting infos about the team you want to choose for carrear mode.
and so on....
but yeah gfx look cool so game rox???? i dont think so

From someone who has actually played and enjoyed both PES4 and Fifa 2005, PES is far superior to Fifa but EA has the license of all FIFA players. It kinda sucks when a player with a made up name scores a nice goal.
Fifa 2006 is a fucking joke. Any game that is not compatible with a keyboard is not even worth downloading. Gamer's keyboard users who paid 50 bucks for it know what I'm talking about. The actual gameplay is mediocre, they finally changed commentators and the graphics are exquisite but where's the fun?
I'll stick to the PES series.

i don't like fifa's graphics for some reason seems dodgy to me. Much prefer pes's graphics. the gameplay is alot smoother. Fifa is just... well crap in my eyes.

And your post doesn't reek of Favouritism . You obviously haven't Played pes 1 to 4 if you can't see a difference in gameplay. And 5 has a completly new learning curve to it.
I pick up fifa 2006, and bang in 4 against juve as celtic on Pro.
I pick up pes5 , And at least theres a challenge ( although half the time its a cheating cpu... )
Graphics wise , Look at your players Close up, Last time i looked at the hair models in fifa they where Fucking atrocious , The animations where poor And the shirts up close look like there Cheap Asian rip offs, They Are melting .
Now pes5 Isn't superior, But Fifa is nothing to brag about. btw Extract your mdl files and compare both from each game.
I have more or less bought each fifa Since 95 on megadrive i think it was , and iss since well iss on ps1 , Even have iss 64 . Obviously there has been Changes via generation But I can Openly say that the differences in gameplay between pes 1 and pes 4 may not be vast But compared to fifa, Is Immense. I honestly thought EA where the ones with the reputation for updating there franchises same shit every year , Being mainly rosters, Soundtrack And GUI.

May not be shit hot looking , But Looks solid , decent animations and feel to the players , players actually resemble there counterparts ohh and tops arn't melting . Go compare a ac top from fifa and pes plz...

Fifa os not a soccer game , is a pinball game , or like NBA JAM i had played on mega drive.
And the gfx is not so great , look the arms , is really strange.
If you want to play pinball take fifa , if yopu want to play soccer get PES5

I could post you hundreds of pictures of disgusting PES graphics but I have better things to do, so whatever, think what you want as we all know you have absolutly no knowledge in football, pes is for kids (LIKE YOU and some others of you) who have no clue what football is about and they think its a sport where you kick a weightless ball into the sky likes its some kind of a balloon and players have brownish white legs which appears to be some skin condition.
Also whats up with these 10 year old graphics ??

I've seen many competitions between footballers in pes. if you live in uk watch when games attack on bravo. Also Last time I looked hmmm the majority of the arsenel play pes in tourneys in Ashley coles house. Lampard and terry like a bit of pes , Must not know anything about real football.... Anytime you watched footballers cribs on mtv . Ohh look a bunch of there mates playing Guess what . pro Evo Soccer .
my assumption is only real footballers sit in the house playing fifa against the computer . Cause i doubt they could have anyone else to play with... Only These people who get paid Thousands apon Thousands a week To Chase a ball . Because according to you , Thats all there doing.....

lol cmon, pes 5 is obviously different from pes4. the ai is improved, the game is slower with basis on midfield, gfx a lil bit better, with really nice player animation, the referee blows more  and so on. that combined with other stuff makes for a complete new experience.
i heard fifa had a pretty good year, but pes is still on top i would say. and yes waffle88, proffesional players seem to enjoy pes over fifa as well.
who cares anyway? most people seem to apreciate this game a bit more, so i would recommend getting this over fifa, if you had to choose one. but hey! since we are here i think most people know how to try them both.
