So i've got a full unlocked version of Metal Slug 3 (Steam) and whenever i launch the game the typical "Can't find msvcr110.dll " message is shown

YES, i did googled and downloaded the .dll and placed it in C:\Windows\System32 (Windows 7 64bits) but after that (no overwritting question has been asked) the game keeps telling me that's missing that file!

Anything i should do?

Thanks in advance

Yeah by now they should have included some of those with Windows by default (And kept it up to date via MS Update.) though maybe they have a good reason not to, same goes for the DirectX redistributable.
(With Windows 8 the new D3D_46 dll file is bundled with the actual games, with 8.1 they actually included the D3D_47 in the Windows folder but you still need the other files from the redist package for well most every recent game and such.)

For Visual C there's 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 in x64 and x86 (32-bit) editions, you need both on a x64 OS so you can use both 32 and 64 bit programs.

There's multiple versions of each, windows sorts them by the WxS folder so you usually have several variants installed although using a repackaged version such as - http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/9790-aio-microsoft-visual-bcfj-redistributable-x86x64/ - it would uninstall all old versions and only keep the latest of each.
(Which works for me but for compatibility reasons it might not be ideal.)

Come to think of it the same goes for .Net 2 and 3.5 for W8/8.1 where you need to install it via the add/remove windows feature function or have a program toggle the same when it tries to start and has a dependency on .Net 3 or older.
(At least the updates are correctly handled via MS Update for that stuff, can even use DISM to uninstall all superseded updates and keep things a bit cleaner though disk space is usually not a concern these days.)

(Yet there seems to be no problem with offering BING stuff via the Windows update function...)

No wonder i've read something on google where some games on 8.1 never works or something due to those files or something...

What do you guys think? (Sorry to transfer the W8.1 topic but since it's related with these dlls)

If you get msvcrt* errors the only thing you have to do is update your redistributables. What is there to discuss exactly ?

Steam auto executes them silently the first time a game is run. And most installers include an option to install these. Did you install the game through steam ?
