I've decided to try the game, installed SKIDROW release and i'm having problem with the keyboard. I've runned some google searches but still can someone tell me what or which update should i install so the keyboard problems will end up ? I also noticed that this realese takes GFWL off ...
What is your problem? I encountered no KB issues so I'm not sure what you're referring to. If you're talking about basic navigation of the menu and such, then yeah, that's a little wonky, but it does work. Just gotta try all the keys. I forget which ones do what off hand.
The default keyboard input problem that acures when u enter a match - it shows u different "battle"keyboard config that has nothing to do with the ones u put in settings menu.
I see that a lot of people had keyboard problems and i guess that thats the problem that everyone were/are complaining ...
Im downloading the patches - 1,2 & 3 and i will reinstall the game without putting the SKIDROW crack that removes GFLW, is that the right thing to do ?
I don't think that's going to be resolved. It's a console port and half-assed programming for the PC conversion is what's causing that. You're not doing anything wrong.
So how can i play the game with the buttons i assign in controls menu, not with those strange "battle"one inputs that shows me when i try to play a match !? How can i make this right ?
That's what i thought also. So now i should put the patch 1 without the SKIDROW crack, right ? Just install the game, install patch 1 and that's all ? And i will be able to play with the buttons i assign in the settings menu, right Pey ?
But if you dont crack you wont have access to all characters. Just get the first patch and use the crack -it´s the only update that was cracked anyway.
Along with a balance patch, Capcom just announced at their panel there is going to be a new version of SF4.
It's going to be $15 DLC ($39.99 if you want to buy the disc version). For $15 you get 5 new characters, 6 new stages, balance updates. Coming to PS3, 360 and PC
5 Characters are:
Elena
Rolento
Hugo
Poision
5th character will make it's debut in a SF game.
edit: Trailer will be shown tomorrow before AE Grand Finals
edit 2: It's coming out in 2014
edit 3: Here is the video from the Panel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=pqBpk3pczik
edit 4: If you want to buy the retail version of the game you get all the costumes for free (Capcom says this is a $40 value). Also if you preorder you get 5 new costumes for the new characters.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Ah can't say I'm excited about these characters. They had them SFxT and i was hoping for something fresh. Elena is nice, let's see what the new character is about.

As with the previous Street-Fighter games there's a small arcade story for each character, nothing elaborate, you see a introduction video and then after beating the game there's a outro video.
(The original SF4 release had a few nice cinematic sequences for intro and epilogue, even a short stand-alone prologue OVA or what they are called.)
EDIT: It's similar to the arcade ladder of Mortal Kombat 9 with it's character specific endings.
(And no matter how many times he is killed M.Bison / Vega keeps returning in one way or another, ha ha.)
All five characters are now announced. Elena, Hugo, Poison, Rolento and finally; Decapre. One of the twelve Bison Dolls. Oh and the SF community rage reaches nuclear levels over this, people screaming about "Cammy reskin"
Man this shit is hard to defend. Let's just say she is not a Cammy clone in terms of moves. They just have to fucking show off all the moves that are shared with Cammy, while playing in ported stages from SFxT. And lets take a jab at the excited fans right before all that.
EVEN if she is not a Cammy clone, Capcom deserves all the backlash.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that GFWL keys for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition are now redeemable on Steam. The unintended side effect of this is that you can use your existing GFWL key (if you bought a Steam copy originally or redeemed a GFWL key on Steam already) as an extra Steam key.
By accident I discovered this:
1. Redeem my GFWL/retail key on Steam
2. Noticed that the "CD Key" under LINKS in my SSF4 AE Steam library page is different than the key I redeemed.
3. Out of curiosity, I gave that key to a friend and surprisingly enough he was able to redeem it on Steam.
4. Now my friend also has an extra GFWL/retail key after redeeming the game on Steam and so on.
