@Saus That is a good idea. But you can't really rely on the weather in this country. I'll keep it in mind though.
@Vai Already did that not so long ago. And my parents are home this time.

Don't do anything too special.
Watch a movie at your house. Cook dinner for her. | This.
Do the "speshul" valentines stuff next week or next month, out of nowhere and she'll probably like it better that way.

Perhaps a small trip somewhere? Just a couple of days, nice place, nothing too fancy
There aren't many options sadly, it's cold these days for outdoor activities and other alternatives fall under the standard "boring" category^^ (though if your parents are at home and you can't do anything else because of the operation, you could try to organize something at her place )

Not related to anything really but why do you still live with your parents?

Check if one of the local butchers don't have a traiteur service or special with Valentine. Usually good food, not too expensive.
Really handy if you have other stuff planned and don't want to ruin most of the time cooking up something special yourself.

Well, I surprised her with some breakfast at bed today. She didn't expect it all and she was so surprised I stood at her bed all of the sudden. I was pretty excited for it, because I had to contact her mother, which I had never seen or spoken, if it was good to enter the house that early. But it all went good in the end and we took a nap after the breakfast, haha. Later today we're having dinner and go see a movie. I also asked if she wanted to stay to sleep.
And I saw the baby and he is so adorable! Yeah I'm a happy man, finally.

As Saus requested a while ago, made this for my phone background. Bit pixelated on this size, but it looks fine on my phone of course.

You must pardon, my dear sir, the unreserved manner in which I am writing, but is it safe that we assume from your statement you FHITB maybe?
