If he thinks that after just a few months the old hardware is holding them back, imagine how we as PC gamers have felt for the past 5 years, and the next 10 ain't going to be much better because of the same reason

Our games are still demanding though. And became demanding towards the end of the previous console generation. I don't know whether it was because of lack of optimization, more demanding games even for the consoles or that pc hardware has purposely stagnated in advances so that they can introduce as many new series as possible without overpowering our computers.
I put my bet on lack of optimization and horrible methods of AA, because that way they make us think that our hardware isn't good enough and make us buy newer ones, while technically most effects could run just fine on cards already years old.

about to purchase a ps4 soon and get ps+ also but..
will i miss out on some of the free games ? is there a cutt off point say if i dont join until next month i miss out on outlast which is this months free game ?

Yes, they games change month to month. So if you don't grab them while they are available you could miss out. This was the case with don't starve I believe, was on PS+ last month and this month it is not.

i think they make exception to ps4 because it just launched. they can't offer many games for ps4 yet, resogun is still free for ps+ and it's like 3rd month now.
right now ps4 has just 2 downloadable games free for ps+, and ps3 has 12 games of which most are big ass AAA games. kinda sad.
all these reviews dont even take into account the better hardware of the ps4 and what it means for gaming in regards to resolution and framerate, ah well, "journalism"

Finally got around to play Titanfall beta , not bad...it's fun , but not that challenging..I was first and I just started playing this. I will wait and play some more to decide..

From what they said about it a few months ago, it's a f2p sp/coop game. Kindda like a f2p Monster Hunter, from what I understood. Huge letdown, tbh.
