Default medium settings for both machine and graphics with all eax settings enabled. I'm running it at 800x600 though to get smooth fps.

Couldn't possibly be that easy.

I'll give it a shot when I get it loaded. I still have all the demo files.

I have great hopes for this game if only because its th e only game that doesnt have a number along its title. Everything else is XYZ 2, XYZ 3, XYZ IV or XYZ the sequel, XYZ the expansion. I guess developers have stopped becoming creative any more. Sometime back when a year's most anticipated titles were shown, people would have to guess what their theme is. Now everybody knows, "oh Quake IV that is just more Quake with Doom 3 engine, AOE3, oh that is more AOE now set in America, Serious Sam 2, just more monsters running at you with updated graphics". Thank god for developers like Monolith, for keeping the gaming scene fresh.

You're arguing against yourself here.

This is just a replica of standard_fps_101.

I know, already developers build games based on themes that sell like WWII. On top of that if they just make updated versions of their own games wont that suck.

why you not try the SP Demo? It's the best for you to answer your question.

I'm sure you would use the same settings as any other Securom 7 DVD. You can't burn an exact copy (DVD burners aren't able to write in RAW mode yet), so you would need to use "Burn RPMS Data to DVD" and enable RPMS in Alcohol. I'm sure you will also need something to hide Alcohol if you mount it, such as antiblaxx or virtual-cd-hide.

[quote="nvanw99"]Perhaps a bit technical but still...

Anyone else had problems with ingame voices?
I don't hear them...changed dxdiag settings but would't help...[/i

i had this issue in the demo and you can solve this in two ways:

A.to install codec for the game named WMFADist .-(this codec maybe found on the dvd itself. also can be found here: http://www.project9k.jp/download/WMFADist.exe
B.update your audio driver.

hope i solved your problems;)

Anyone else having a problem with a lockup early in the game?

At the point where

 Spoiler:

just after that, it locks up. Sounds plays for another few seconds and then locks, too. Have to hard-reset the whole computer.

Well, I turned the sounds down to medium instead of maximum and it didn't lock up this time.

I've definitely had a few 'oh crap' moments already and have chills up my spine. Such an amazing job they've done.
