the very fact that people compare doom 3 to so many games alone means it made an impact.
To me, doom3 is one of my favorite games of all time and I just dont see why people bash it so :\ Peace,

Well ppl bash it because it was not has good as it was suposed to be . They where speaking of awsome thing that never happend and the gameplay was always the same , go there go there go there .

That's what doom is!
It's you people that wanted doom3 to be something else, dont blame ID for it, they did exactly what they shuld, a new DOOM GAME! and it was fricking awesome as a DOOM game.

Quake4 might turn out be cool. I just hope I can play it, these dark games really scares me Razz

Id created a huge hype about doom3 so everybody was waiting for the game of the century . The game was good , but not awsome . The best part was the graphics but the mp and the game was not awsome .

This is why ppl bash doom3 , because of th hype created by id .

If ID didn't want to make a DOOM game they wouldn't have used the name DOOM, so regardless of hype the name DOOM shuld have given people a HINT on what the game was all about.

People that fall for this kind of hype are problary the same people that buy shit on tvshop. Laughing
