You can play in Online mode, but when you change your language settings ( like I did some minutes ago ) you have to start steam with the VPN again. But if you keep your language you can play online just fine.

Hmm I had to restart my PC and then I logged into steam there was only preload available instead of play

I guess Ill have to log in via vpn to play it =))

Hmm.. ok... everything is ticked ON and MAXed at 1920x1200

Minfps 27.4

Maxfps 78.4

Avgfps 57.5


It looks nice, I would even say that some scenes are quite beautiful, sure, but not THAT nice and beautiful to have only 57 average fps in ue3 game Laughing

PS it seems if you have vsync turned on the game shows you that minfps is 0.0

Anybody already tried SweetFX with this?
Because there is a 32bit and 64bit folder for the binaries. And i assume it will auto-start as 64bit and SweetFX doesn't work with 64bit or?

This game is such a contradiction.

Some reviewers say the levels are big, others say they are too tight and small.
Some say it stays too far from its roots, some say it sticks too closely to them

and i still have 18gb to downlaod of ISODemo

It's cool that they gave all those HUD options but as a guy that's obsessed with UI design and functionality in general I can only say: what the fuck is up with that UI style?! It's stupid, Skyrim was the game that kind of started this trend of using this really modern minimalistic style even in games that it doesn't fit in. It's stupid. Also about the UI, why that skew on the menus? It bothers my OCD!

I don't like that you can't have killings banned but knockdowns allowed
I couldn't find it in custom difficulty settings.

I still can't decide what difficulty level I should choose and what custom settings Very Happy . Master seems OK but "no civilian knockouts are allowed" rule seems a bit too much. I just loved knocking out civilians in the previous games Wink

What difficulty settings you lot will set?

PS And what do all these points give us? The ones where we choose what things to turn off /on in regard to difficulty? Are they just score points? No connection with XP at all?

Sure go ahead i allrdy played the 360 version a little and i reached that conclussion on my own aswell and i thought Deadly Shadows was atleast decent despite beeing a derpy console game aswell but this is way worse, the game is a fucking disgrace for the Thief name it needs to be purged with fire.

Inability to jump pisses me off... I see something I want to explore, to check out this or that place for hidden loot, where I could theoretically get by jumping, I try to do just that and Gareth doesn't jump .It fucking kills me and limits exploring. oh wait. there is almost none! Very Happy I mean I knew free roaming/jumping isn't allowed but I try anyways lol it's a habit

I don't like voice overs..dat girl we meet in the beginning and Garreth's voice. Nah... When I hear them talking I'm like Konstantin Stanislavski - "I don't believe" Very Happy

Anyone know of a free trial VPN service that actually works? Is it just Japan where the game is unlocked at the moment?

Use this Sweetfx package: http://bit.ly/1ndwu5p

It works with 64bit. It's made and configured for warframe... So after unpacking in the 64bit folder, make sure you open SweetFX_settings.txt and disable anything that isn't SMAA and Lumasharpen (unless you want to tweak the settings of course). This game benefits really greatly from some sharpening...

Didn't know it had issues with Win8 since I stuck with 7.
