One point short to pass the exam.
One year longer im going to study because of this shit Wink 30/90 people didnt pass...
Fuck this shit Wink)
The funny thing is we passed all the very hard courses, and nobody has seen this one coming because it was supposed to be an easy one. The proff said he wanted to apply some "american rules". Now i know what he meant

Well in all honesty, that is pretty far from actually knowing your stuff. There's enough mediocrity out there already, don't settle for it.

1. Its hundreds of pages of stuff about security of computers
2. The test was an abcde test with -1 for wrong answer and +1 for right one
3. I did study a lot but i dont have a lot of time because i work 3 days a week.
4. I didnt give a 100% shit because point nr 3

Im not making excuses, just explaining how it went. I could always study more.
It just funny how one little tiny mistake will cost you that much.

Ill have to travel once a week 200 km for a 1,5h pointless course. Ill work 4 days a week, less money, although ill pay less taxes as a student

Been doing those tests (and passing ahmgad!) where you need a minimum of 80% or 90%. MCSE track and others. So I don't see the teacher as anywhere close to being harsh.

This is easy, it's just getting around 50% (but in all honesty you should have at least 70% so it doesn't come down to 1 point) and yes mine was also 100's of pages about anything software/network related.

Any who, not trying to be harsh, just trying to convey that even 1 point would mean you don't know enough and it would just mean you passed nothing more. Most likely putting you in trouble for the next batch assuming you'd be satisfied and won't brush up on it. As to reasons: understandable and you know where it went wrong. So next time put more time and effort into it.

Makes me sound like a dick I know But the only reason why I passed such exams was because I was realistic and using any free time I had to study.

Edit: And at that time I was working full time as a network engineer + standby on the weekends (but I could sneak in 1 or 2 hours during work if there were dead times )

you're not being a dick. you're being realistic. Of course I could pass it with 90%.
It's just that our first 2 years were really hard and I studied hard. 3rd year was supposed to be easy as fuck, and it was. We didn't learn shit. I went lazy and let my guard down. Except this one course. I just didn't give enough shit Wink I wanted to pass with least work. Didn't work.

I'll go pay a visit to the prof. It was scanned and scored by a machine and they often make mistakes.
