Man I paid $110 with tax for b4 + premium a few months back. Makes me want to hulk-rage to think that I spent that much on a piece of shit broken game game. FU EA and DICE, never again. Fool me once...

No we're not. I spent 50€ and loved most of the 350h spent in the game Razz
Although could have managed with just regular game without Premium... But only 2/5 DLCs out currently, so let's see what else is there.

Ah fucking Punkbuster, 100 hours of gameplay and the only issues I've had were game related, DICE fucking something up, shitty hit detection, and so on, now all of a sudden PB doesn't work and I can't reinstall because pnkbstrB or whatever can't be copied. Neutral

I have full control over my OS, so it's not permission related.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Not really feeling this second assault DLC. really enjoyed China Rising, but this one.... meh.

Maybe because it's all the old recycled maps I'm already so familiar and bored with. Hope the navy one is better,

I doubt they would add such a "nice" feature.
They will probably save that things for BF5 Sad

But maybe it will be possible to move the ships on their rails by pressing buttons at the coast and get an unlock too for doing that Reaction

It was actually a feature of "Titan" gameplay, which is now confirmed to be coming back with Naval Strike. However, back then many servers restricted the Titans movement as matches were getting too repetitive with the Titans always advancing towards each other and triggering a clusterfuck of epic proportions.

Hm, i consider buying the game with that mexico trick for the multiplayer.. but.. as im kinda on a low budget here .. i wonder.. and got some questions.

- Will i be actually missing much if i get only the basic game or the the deluxe edition instead of the premium.. is the MP experience less fun and does it feels like a stripped down game compared to the premium ?
- Will i be missing all that much having only deluxe or the basic instead ? Are the DLC worth it? are they sp/mp ? - -
-Are those battle packs such a great deal to have (are they exclusive stuff or can be unlocked by progression?)
- Exclusive customization options ? What's that all about..

Premium = all the DLC's + monthly/weekly extra stuff (unlocks and vanity stuff mainly).

Basic and Deluxe = Base game (deluxe gives some bullshit not worth a cent, so don't bother).

Just buy the base game and if you like it, you can always add the premium on top of it later.

Add : just make it clear, premium is NOT the game itself. Only added content.

What Sin said.
Get the base game first and play it a couple of days, if you like it then buy premium. Don't just buy game+premium up front without knowing if you'll like it or not.

just checked on origin.com and bf4 is on sale

BF4 deluxe edition 35€ instead of 70€

and indeed it includes china rising.

For that price, you can't really go wrong Smile

Premium isn't on sale sadly hehe.

I bought non premium for 26eur on g2play and i still feel its too much =p
It's addictive in the sense that there simply isn't anything better to play multiplayer other than mmo's honestly, but that still doesn't make it a good game :/

I honestly kind of like the more arcade playstyle for infantry compared to bf3, probably cause i've always been a heli/jet/vehicle whore and i was just plain bad at infantry & now i do alright, but on the other side of the medal the vehicles feel so bad now it's crazy.
Netcode wise its alright, could be better but nothing that really bugs me since i'm not that great at infantry anyway, it's more the overall game itself that has changed so much from it's core it's sad.

Yeah true dat...

Seems like a good idea to delete/rename the user.cfg file if you made many changes to it.
Many peeps are crashing(with old user.cfg) with the updated client and server... man the bf4 forums are terrible.

EDIT: Battlelog is also updating now..

had to delete user.cfg to start the game.

So in case you have problems, there is the (first step) of the solution Smile

Hi everyone,

We are aware that some of you have been experiencing some crashing since the patch this morning. Below is a workaround for this problem:

1. Go into your game directory (D:\Origin Games\Battlefield 4, or whatever is the default one)
2. If you have a “user.cfg” file, open it in notepad.
3. Delete the command line “UI.DrawEnable 1”
4. Save the file
5. Start the game

This file is not automatically created by the game so if you do not have it, you will need to create the user.cfg file and include the line mentioned in step 2. Once created Save the file and try to launch the game. It will mostly likely crash once more. After it does, delete the user.cfg and try again.

Thanks.

~Rick

WTF? are the interns handling bf4 now or what?

Just saw this on Twitter:

We're running a test for a possible "netcode" fix on this server right now: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/servers/show/pc/eda5c3f4-6672-46d0-b7ef-bcb00e0ef60e/Timeless-02-Operation-Locker-24-7-1500-Tickets/ [battlelog.battlefield.com] … - please join and help us test! #BF4

A working "netcode" fix would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Ok I didnt know that... Very Happy
