Well, kind of. A bit after entering the corporation building. You enter the shaft, avoid wires, pick up some item which i don't know what it does, and finally you meet the fan which is cut in a way you can run through as rat, but the fan doesn't stop so that you can.

Honestly, the level design in the game is so bad, bland and unmemorable (compare to LoS1) that I don't even remember the place you are talking about. A screenshot would help.

The designers of this game needs to be dragged out and shot. So many times now, go left or go right. I make a choice and the door closes on me and i can't go back to see whats in the other path.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO USE SOME FILE BACKUP SERVICE/DAEMON TO MAKE SNAPSHOTS OF THE SAVEFILE EVERY 10-30 MINS

Crashed 4 times right on saving, but thanks to my paranoia I managed to avoid losing the progress by doing copies of the savefile every time it was changed.

I hate it. LOS1 had the same problem.

Oh FFS, I hated tht in the first game Facepalm This is the number 1 reason I love quest markers/compass markers in games and I always enable them if the option to disable exists, because that way I know what direction to AVOID when exploring.

from what i ve heard this game has alot of metroidvania-esque backtracking, so maybe you can revisit all these places.

Doesn't always help i'm afraid :/ some paths are weird and when you think you are going for the optional area the path you take takes a turn and heads for the way forward. Happened in that underworld city.

Fog of war-ish where you explore just around your character, so no. You don't know what leads where in some cases :/

I really like it tho but present day/future sections are so bad Sad they are meh at best , the castle parts are awesome and feels like a castlevania ... i'm sure they could find a gamy bullshit reason why you are just in castles/past all the time and that would've been awesome. Now i speed run present day/future parts (because they feel boring and makes me wanna quit the game) and play it properly with exploring when i'm in cool castles and shit. I'm really happy is not just present day focused... that would've suck ass and insta uninstall ...and the "stealth sections" oh god Laughing

out of sig inspiration for the moment Okay

Yeah it's not always perfect, but usually it gets the job done Smile (I'm in that underworld area now too, didn't have problems with minimap yet..)

This game feels so weird. One minute you're fighting a blood-powered golem in a gothic castle, the next you're a rat chewing wires in tunnels. Kind of seems like they tried to throw too much stuff into this game.

The modern setting looks damn fugly and boring.... ;( Maybe Ill give it a try later, I just couldn't force myself to play it . Compared to castles and shit areas it's like they were designed by two different teams.

1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB

I have everything maxed out on the graphics, but there are a few scenes and some effects that are pixelated still, wonder if anyone gets this also?

The textures aren't that great even with that high-resolution pack but otherwise it's a nice upgrade from the first game although I think it's still using DX9

EDIT: Of course the character textures are quite good.

By pixelated, i dont mean textures, the image quality and some of the effects like blur and stuff sometimes get pixelated.. it only happens when theres a lot of effects on screen, otherwise the textures look awesome to me.. not perfect, but very good quality..

Hmm I hadn't thought about that and I don't think I've noticed it but now that I know about it I'll probably start seeing it too, maybe they've made the effects (Depth of field, distortions, reflections and such.) use a lower resolution instead of 1:1 screen res or how it might be set up or since you said it happened when there were a lot of characters on screen maybe they scale down to half-screen resolution then to preserve performance?
