i'm very disappointed of the last episodes- imo the new enterprise has nothing to with star trek anymore and i never thought that i'd be pleased about cancelling Enterprise but now i am. R.I.P

Would you like to elaborate on that please. Seeing as how in Ep 19 they come across the ship from the original startrek, I don't see how you can get any more relevent.

i was happy they finally changed the intro-music, but then.. Razz

i really have a problem with enterprise, it just doesn't feel "right"..
for one thing, all the sex-crap, ok i haven't seen everything startrek but i've seen voyager and a few tng episodes and there hasn't been anything like that stupid decontamination-scene from enterprise s1.

the two "twisted"-episodes now had more of that, it's getting sleazy..

the pilot to tng had me trying to see under troi's skirt all the time Wink

Sure t'pol is hot and all but i just don't want every series i watch to turn into some kind of softcore pornshit. especially when they never did a 7of9/janeway/kes threesome in voyager..

I think that was the whole point.

Otherwise the only relationship aspect is between t'pol and trip. I don't think it's any different to 7of9 and that kim bloke.

what about a ship, from our point of view coming from a the known star trek future into a different realities past- No questions, no scientific research, no theories, no star trek. Just a stupid bunch of brutal crewmen who want to conquer the galaxy in the name of the glorious EMPIRE ending up with empress Sato... Lol- Putting in the "old" Defiant doesn't make this star trek for me-
Star Trek was always about finding the truth, about learning something by illustrating social relations and imo (definately since 3x25 & 4x01) it degraded to *whateveryoumaycallit
I know a few star trek guys who are pleased about this development up to more action but many are taking this enterprise as an insult to the testament of star trek history.
No offense, everyone has a different view on how enterprise should be

hehehehehe

nah, i like him as captain. But i also like the crew alot. Its a more believable crew then the other ones and unlike the previous shows i pretty much from the beginning liked most if not all of em, as they played their roles well and the episodes where more concerned with the characters and their struggles then the obvious stories like shoot-the-bad aliens & help the good aliens...

I agree with animal on that point. I didnt really like the episodes I saw. One thing I liked about next gen was the fact that the stories usually had a moral or a meaning instead of the random blast alien crap you had in deep space nine et al. I'll be waiting for star trek 11 tbh Wink

fear the led zeppelin that was!

i saw the very last eps last night (4.22) and i think we won be seeing any new star trek stuff for a very long time (which is good cuz the story material and acting in enterprise was for most eps very crappy)

this captain was by far the worst ever , wooden acting , no real good old star trek charm like janeway , kirk , picard , sisko all had plenty of

Sisko was shit, I thought he was such a boring character,

Picard and Kirk were the best in my opinion, although janeway was ok.

Where did you hear that??? I have read over the last year all the people Shitting all over Enterprise.. I have been watching Star Trek since I was a kid.. Over 20 yrs and I loved Enterprise. It was Star Trek no matter how you look at It.. It was a great show as all the Star Trek series have been and I hate UPN for cancelling the show and I will never watch that station again because of what they did to Enterprise. Boycott UPN.

Well I can't complain, at least Trip is dead, he was the biggest assfuck on the ship. Now maybe the captain can get round to tapping T'pal. Very Happy

Along with the Star Trek MMO will come a new series that supposedly will take place some decades after TNG, Rick Berman is doing the script I heard.

.
.
.

Hmm... now I seem to have my information wrong, it's a movie, not a series - and it's a prequel (?) - damn it, and I who was sure I read it in the Star Trek MMO-preview, that a series would come along and help that out, but it's N/A @ IMDb.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0075834/

can't seem to find the preview I read :/

Oh you mean a whole new branch of the startrek arc, I thought you meant another series of enterprise. My bad.

doing a run of this show and it's so facepalm.

Every second episode Archer is saying, how no human has ever gone as far, yet they keep running into humans. Especially the earth freighters who seem to be running those distances quite frequently (and for ages, too).

It was a crappy show. Only star trek show, that i've only seen once. And when it started to pick up and get exciting - cancelled

You'll mostly enjoy episodes where Archer isn't the focus of the story
