According to binsearch, it's in a.b.console.ps3, looks like they made a mistake in their acronym, it's imars-sttsot

Hmm. Getting a black screen. Is 4.50 needed for this? I'm on 4.46.

Mother fuck. Thanks man.
Also, I'd be very curious to see what benefits the PC version will have over the console ones. The animation approach they took with this I am thinking means there should be some great parity.

This game. My goodness this game. I can't believe they nailed it. And combat is far more involved than I thought it is. They absolutely did not skimp when it came to this game.

It's using the same engine Obs used for Dungeon Siege 3, which wasn't superbly smooth on the PS3 either.

its not that bad really, but it gets you out of the "this is an southpark episode and no game" feel sometimes.

The game definitely stutters in certain sections. Will be interesting to see how it performs on PC. If the stutter is still there, really no reason to start over with that version.
Aside from the writing, the combat is definitely where the game shines. I think it will take a lot of fights to get the timing just right though. I've managed to pull of Butters Perfect strike once, but have fucked up everytime on his Abilities. It still does damage but not as much as it could. Some of those windows are REALLY tight.

Quote: | I made this comment in response to someone else's comment, but think it bears repeating as a top-level comment:
I'm the Associate Producer on the game for Ubisoft. We did make a separate version just for Germany/Austria. There's actually 5 versions: North/South America, Europe, Germany, Australia, and Russia. Only the North/South American one is completely uncensored on every platform. The Australian one is censored on all platforms, the European and Russian ones are censored on console only, and the German one is censored on console for anal probing etc as shown in this screenshot, and censored on both console and PC for swastikas, Heil Hitler arm salutes, etc.
Just trying to clear up what is what where. |
