Try as I might I just CAN'T enjoy this. There's nothing at all that stands out about it. The quests are generic. The combat is atrocious (this is its biggest downfall). The lore is all pretty dry. The 3 way Realm vs. Realm might be its saving grace, but I'd rather lick battery acid than resort to PvPing in any MMO.

With lower expectations, I'm rather enjoying it. I like the world so far. Yes the world is a little generic but it's quality work. Also the voice acting is good and everything is voiced over. The UI is pc centric, thankfully. Agree that the 1st person FOV is far too narrow.

Game is good for me, looks great, feels good, to get some sensitivity? something wrong with ur setup dude, razor mouse working fine in this game nothing wrong with the sensitive part of things only on 1800 as well and 500hz.
The instant respawn of the enemies is a glitch actually and known. The UI is far from atrocious and works extremely well if you know what you are doing of course.
I can safely say for me defo not one of the worse games I have played in last decade.
Think I will put swtor the worse mmo made in last decase, even Eden eternal asian fest was better than that lol

For me it's fun enough to be a great F2P game but definitely underwhelming for a B2P+P2P title... I'd play it and enjoy it if it was F2P but I don't see it as being worth not only an initial purchase but also a monthly subscription.
It's a shame. If they'd launch as F2P or B2P I'd be there from the start but since they won't, it's unlikely I'll get into it later on as well even if they turn from P2P to F2P since by that time we'll probably either have EverQuest Next or be close to it.

I'd actually prefer if this game went The Secret World route and just got rid of the subscription and went B2P, as then we wouldn't have to deal with shitty F2P restrictions and all the other negativities that come with F2P. I feel like this game would be worth about $25-$30 and that's it after playing the beta.
I love the exploration to it. Lot's of stuff to discover. Think it's fun, not really anything 'new' in the MMO scene, but what is lately. But yeah won't buy it, box+sub I can't justify it for something I'd play a year max. I'd be fine with a sub tho, keeps certain people out which is fine by me
If everything is true (no more tut island, faster lvl, npc clipping and more beefy combat) it could be a step in the right direction! These are the stuff that really turned me off for this game.
Game is flawed from the core there is not mutch they can do now a month bevore release to change that, they probably start to panic now cause the reception in general is not that great and the game was very expensive to develop.
The biggest let down for me was the beta not being updated. Gave a lot of people a worse impression tbh. If you're not following them it even seems like they did no work at all the past 2 months
But yeah it's true, that stuff is running on the closed beta servers. Wish they gave me access to those rather than the stress tests weekends
Most likely. I can't believe there wont be a beta with the latest build, clipping and new starting added, to make people change mind about what seems to be the biggest complaints.
