The story for Batman: Arkham Knight picks up one year after the events of the preceding game, 2011's Arkham City. A whole lot has changed in Bruce Wayne's hometown, including the fact that crime is at an all-time low. Part of it is because someone pretty central to Gotham's criminal ecosystem is laying very low.

During a presentation at the recent comic convention WonderCon, three DC Comics panelist showed a trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight before apparently casually mentioning that the project was no longer targeting a 2014 release. According to a report on Bleeding Cool, the panel said the game was "no longer as 2014 project ... but a 2015 project."
