Demo has been released.

Overall the demo is good(this is coming from a zombiefanatic).
It is short but still sweet.

Wrong. Hip went out of business, yes, but the devs are looking for publishers. LotD is a completely different game.

No sir, he is not.

City of the Dead is a COMPLETELY different story. PLUS Tom Savini plays the main character, and if I recall... Tom Savini doesn't look like a farmer.

oh and notice how LotD is 'based' off a story by George Romero, whereas City of the Dead is strictly George Romero.

That's when Land of the Dead comes out. City of the Dead was supposed to come out Feb. 9th, 2006. But I'm pretty sure the release date is unknown now.

For some reason it reminds me of Postal 2. Maybe the hordes of people rushing on you, while you blow thier heads does it. Looks good though. The movie was top notch.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

When the Resident Evil series had reached part V. the zombie-scenario was done for me. can't see it anymore, maybe with really nice lookin gfx, supreme story and HL² Physics. but another Unreal2 engine game with dumb gameplay is absolutely redundantly.

Try They Hunger: Lost Souls MOD for HL2.
http://www.planethalflife.com/manke/bwg/game.htm

btw, Resident Evil fully copied from Romero's films.

They Hunger: Lost Souls isnt a mod for HL2 its a stand alone game and its even not out yet...

Resident Evil only copied the concept of a "zombie" nothing else... Romero has his own style when talking zombies unlike the ones in Resident Evil, they learn to do things from their original lives.

There is no other games with this style.

i must really say i liked dawn of the dead movie.
and i just saw that this guy produced zombie movies since '68, so i guess he IS an original.

but that doesn't change my opinion that the gameplay of this game is too oldfashioned. we played this "run-around-and-shoot-everything-that-moves"-games too often by now. i would have liked a more innovative style of zombie-game. that's my point.

Laughing

The zombie concept goes way back dude. I own the trilogy which also has the history behind romereo's ideas and inspiration.
The Idea behind the romero movie was to critizice (spelling?) the modern society and beliefs not only to let it be a whole frag fest.

and take note that there WAS zombie movie before NOTLD.
