First of all, they should give you an option when you start to either have everything unlocked or start the stupid progression. Cause honestly, I can't really enjoy these shooters if I have to grind my way through all that bullshit.
And this is to me a huge problem with all these new shooters, it used to be that you just chose a class and got weapons/gadgets or perhaps got rewarded for kills/objectives and you could buy weapons and equipment the next round. But nope, gotta make this into some kind of an MMO grind to keep people playing it longer.

I do enjoy the weapon unlocks in fps ie battlefield, gives me something to aim for.
now before you say anything I should point out I've played bf2, 3 and 4 and it was only the spec ops class in bf2 that I unlocked fully so I was never one to grind through the game.
I'm decent at fps games so playing with the lower level guns never really put me out much.
I love my cs and the idea of buying at the start of each round but I also like the progression of games like bf. I happy to work with either mathod. obviously the cash in cs is a very important game mechanic compared to something like bf.

Did ea or respawn mention about what would be in Season Pass? I read somewhere that the season pass will include only map packs and some shit like that.

Personally, I really like progression but at the same time I also really dislike having to unlock all the weapons... I would like for there to be a progression system where the only things you unlock are cosmetic stuff, while all weapons, titans and "perks" or whatever are unlocked from the start. That would be nice, that way I get the progressions system that my inner collector loves but I don't have to deal with the stupid artificial grind. |
Agreed, Black Ops 1 did a very good job on that if I recall, you had everything available and could spend unlock points in weapons and equipment which you wanted instead of grinding your way to 50 or so to get that AR/SMG/whatever you actually want to use.

You dont need Mexican address at any point. Just make sure you switch off VPN/proxy at checkout BEFORE you log in.

You have to start the pre-load through the VPN, then you can turn it off and the download will continue.

I connect through VPN, start Origin, start preload, disconnect VPN without closing origin, but the download stops, and when I pause-resume it says the preload failed.

Use on of these proxies, use them at your browser: http://gatherproxy.com/proxylist/country/?c=Mexico
- Go to the Mexican Origin, put Titanfall in your basket and go to the checkout
- Before you login at the website, get rid of the proxy connection
- Log in at the website
- Pay with paypal
- Job done

I didn't have to go back to Mexico to start the preload. Traveled back to the States, logged in, purchased and downloaded. Will I find out after I pull all 50Gs that I should have gone back to Mexico first? That would suck!

Yes.
Enable proxy/vpn -> add Titanfall to cart -> disable vpn/proxy -> pay -> done.
