yes it worked for me : i bought the game with another origin account.. not the one used with a vpn before because i got the 10048 error

Yeah what sucks is then you don't have titanfall linked to your original account. I thought about doing that, but I didn't want to have a bunch of accounts to switch to when playing different games.

Actually I just tried creating a whole new account and I still got the 10048 error.....

Created a new email,origin and paypal then added titanfall to cart and turned off the proxy in the login screen. I then logged in with the new account and typed in new paypal and I got the 10048 error. Its annoying and I think I can probably find another deal and maybe pay like 60 with the DLC, but damn this is one of those big obstacles I have run into in life that I would like to conquer. --- Maybe its the proxy I am using???

My goal has no longer become to play titanfall, but to place the order.

bought bf3 premium @ origin-india, BF4 and titanfall @ origin-mexico, still able to do something with this account.

Not giving up on it seeing hopw I spent 599.00 pesos on it Wink BUT... I think it was more fun having early access and going to Mexico than the actual game. I enjoy "demos" and early access type stuff... I think it's a sickness. Should I go check into Betty Ford?

If so, can I sign up using a VPN from another country?

exactly the same for me.
also bought SimCity on indian origin.... yeah I know, I failed there, but at least I got dead space 3 out of it... fuck :-(

so I played some titanfall for the first time yesterday, attrition game mode, was quite nice!
I like the gunplay and movement is good. I have a feeling you can do a lot here with skill.

Calling in the titan and watching it drop from atmosphere is really sweet.

The ai grunts are fun too, I like how they talk and stuff. like some of em were in awe about how great the pilots (players) are. Reminds me of marines talking about the master chief in halo games :-)

the few maps I played so far were very well designed and varied in theme and architecture.
Just very high quality stuff. But that's to be expected with a multiplayer only game I guess.

Graphics overall don't hold a candle to something like battlefield from a technical standpoint but the animations and art design just makes it look good anyway.

Experienced some stutter though with vsync enabled, and with it disabled I had some bad tearing.
I don't see why but I didn't check the fps so not sure if the problem was on my end. I'd expect to play with everything on max at a solid 60 fps with a radeon 290 and i3570k@4ghz (1440p) but maybe I'm expecting too much there?

You should be able to max the shit out of this game without a sweat. It's the game, or perhaps drivers fault that it stutters and tears like a ****

200 minutes to go

btw does anyone know.. is the campaign like a 1 time thing? Does it have replay value? Is it like normal multiplayer but with linear progression through maps with cutscenes in between or something?
You just move on to classic after you played through it once to unlock stuff?

I googled it but can't find anything conclusive. Just a dev interview saying you play through once with each faction and get some story bits..which doesn't really tell me anything about it.

200 minutes till Korean unlock? So even if you do unlock via Korean vpn... you would only be able to join Korean servers for the time being, no?

I don't know if there will be any re playability, maybe for the sakes of leader-boards of stats perhaps? Apparently the campaign will last about 2 hours per each side.

yeah korean

when you launch the game you can choose any worldwide server you want in the main menu so activating with korean vpn will be enough to play anywhere as long as the servers are up, and they've been up and well for over a day now so it should be fine.

There is a two hour campaign (for each side) which is essentially 5 matches of Attrition and four Hardpoint spliced together with cutscenes.

Got that from a guy on neogaf, not pretty sure about the campaign.

Is the South Korean unlock going to be a "one time login" thing, or are you going to have to use it every time you want to play? I avoided using the modified .exe to play early, but I've got time today and would hate for a whole 12 hours to go to waste!

@Surray

Gotcha, thanks.

@Immunity

Probably a one time thing, as long as you don't close your origin after unlocking. Then when the game is released in your territory you should be fine.

When I used the VPN to start the preload, origin kept the VPN's preload and launch dates for the game until I closed it.
I assume starting origin with the VPN should be enough, but you will probably have to do it again if you close origin.

It seems those nvidia drivers only update the 3d vision for titanfall, it doesn't mention any other performance improvement... but who knows.... and doesn't say anything about an SLI profile either :/

I guess we'll find out in a short while though, Korean unlock in only a few hours away now I believe...
