Yeah :/ I dont know why...No matter what settings I try, I get these frames drops and the constant feeling its not "60 fps" even when it shows 60fps.. doesnt feel as smooth as bf4 ( which runs @ 60fps )

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how many of you are hypocrites and actually bought it.

Had CoD added this movement system, bots, magic pistol and the boring mechs, most of you would've shat all over it. Instead it's now called "refreshing". Well, fuck you, you're a hypocrite.

Refreshing would've been not to make CoD with some half-assed extras. Because this still very much is CoD.

Is this for real? Would audio have that much of an impact and is this seriously playable on a dual-core machine (their main argument for this)? Confused

Edit:
Also, lol at sin and his "helpfull" comments.

Yeah, let's bitch about someone bitching and then go right ahead and bitch about something else (in this case the size of the game).

Yeah like you said the output is the same.

Sometimes the ping is somewhat "okay" around 60ish, then it goes up to 80-90ms.

Just tried bf4, cod bops 1-2, around 30-40ms.

Thanks anyways!!!

How is it running for you?

Hmm, well...guess it's nothing internal then.
ANywho, I don't even own this. There were too many red flags popping up prior to release for me to pre-order it. I'll wait a month in and then decide.
Also, BF4 is just degrading after each patch for me. Not performance wise but all the weird fucking bugs that they add.
Still playable and enjoyable but I'm not getting another game made in the forstbite engine, that's for sure.

Hear ya, have little faith in DICE after BF 3-4 and their "retail" products infested with bugs.

I bought titanfall+season cheap mexican store, otherwise i'd wait as well Smile

Why the fuck do you all care if some of us like it? Lol. It's a reasonably fun game and I really like the parkour movement. This game is much more vertical in nature and you don't get the endless dolphin diving like in CoD. Other than the weapons and engine, the mechanics are quite a bit different than CoD. At least this game is fairly entertaining. Worth $47 for the game and season pass. $60 for the base game is too much though

I don't really. It's just hilarious to watch so many hypocrites shit all over CoD and then they buy this. I'm eagerly awaiting the announcement of Call of Duty: Mechdogs® with Bullet AI™, © 2014-2015 when the same people will express their disgust at yet another CoD with "crap" gameplay. While they're already playing that exact game Laughing

The differences in actual gunplay are bigger between CS 1.6, Source and Global Offensive than they are between this and CoD Laughing

That's fine and I don't judge anyone for that fact. If you enjoy it, good for you. I know you don't enjoy BF4, while I do (largely because I've had 3 crashes in total Razz). To each his own.

I do judge people for shitting all over CoD, yet calling this "refreshing". Again, none of those people would've called CoD "refreshing" had they added this movement in the last CoD (and I do consider the movement the only interesting element, the Titans are boring as hell).

Well, truth be told, I haven't even bothered joining a BF4 match lately. I will be reserving this when I get a better GPU, downgrading to the 660 is not something to moan about, but it doesn't offer a good BF4 experience, I have to cut down on most aa stuff and still rarely get 60 fps on average.

Also, I was pretty entertained by CoD, well, by MW2/BO2, since Ghosts...well, you know how that is. I don't really call this refreshing, it's just...it's what I wanna play now. I need some mindless fun for a while. Might come back to BF4 sometime. Or BF5, whenever that's released. But I get where you're coming from, some people change their opinions faster than some change their socks. And when called out on it, hypocrisy and other human flaws come out in despicable ways.

Well IF this is the case, why the fuck didn't they implement an option for those with strong enough CPU's to do it on the fly?! Seriously, is such a thing so hard to come up with?!

Dont restart the game.

Open the vpn, start the game, close the vpn. If you closes the game or it crash you have to start it with the vpn opened.

Other country language files are like 75mb in total.. so that's not really an issue.

Of course, I had no doubt about that. There must be some poorly made sound loops too - to take even more space.

Anyway, the article above is complete bullshit. Even Nokia N79 with its petty single-core ARM 11 369MHz processor, decoding FLAC takes up about 6% of its CPU time versus 3% uncompressed WAV. I know it's different architecture (ARM vs x86), but still...

Here's comparison for reference for those that are interested http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?s=ce6d024a382d0d8a8d79fd7d25d08372&showtopic=92235

Boy, the devs certainly inherited their moronic porting skills over to the new company if they have 30+GB of audio files *facepalms*. Even if I had been interested in buying it, that huge size would have put me off - do those morons know how expensive SSD space is?

Nothing, just another unlock-centric shallow shooter you're done with in a few weeks and boot up on occasions when you're bored.

Probably the most overhyped game in recent memory.
