And finally when he was lying in hospital, why did he have his left eye wounded like that. His eye looked just fine after he was stabbed. |
Get the fuck out with that Lost-crap. It feels like you did not pay attention at all. He was hallucinating throughout the season due to his brain being fucked up from drugs and alcohol and trauma. | Probably only started watching this from ep.4 with all the talk regarding the kewl pewpewpew scene that he missed what happened in the first three eps

What I don't understand is do these people not wear any protective vests? It's 2012 for the characters, what happened to common sense in writers and directors? Or are they too cool for school for that.
The night beckons me

After seeing it whole I must say that overly show was good. Yeah it was good, just good.
But definitely didn't stand to all this crazy hype. Ending was so cheesy. All of those big mysteries and anticipation leading to mediocre ending with some random crazy guy living in the woods(fens or whatever).

What the fuck did you expect it to be at the end? The messiah come again? The second coming of our savior? Jizzus christ come back to earth?
It's always a random crazy guy, and in those parts of America, there are many woods, so there are good chances he'd be from there.
The show was about a journey and methodical investigation, not some big reveal at the end.
I guess you'd also find The Wire boring because at the end it was just a random nigga living in the ghetto?

Who's to say True Detective S2 can't be a backdoor X-Files S10 pilot? |
Because then the big reveal will be that the truth is just a random crazy guy in the woods.

Awesome start with a good ending. I enjoyed it very much overall, very high production values and amazing attention to detail. What stood out most for me was the chemistry between the two characters and the dialogue. I don't know how a new duo would be able to top these two fuckers.

Brad Pitt was good when he was young - in 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Seven. But know after living a few years with titty- and organ-less skeleton Jolie he is MEH...

I want Brad Pitt paired with Gillian Anderson.
He is a bum and stumbles into something, she a sarcastic chain smoking cop and they pair up to solve this occult transportation system murder thing.

This could work very well
It's important that the two detectives aren't spring chickens, since this is a quite profound show aimed to a relatively niche audience, and requires the two leads to have been through a lot in their past. Backstories are necessity
