Visuals are practically the same as on mobile devices - main differences are (apart from higher resolution, better framerate and MSAAx8):
- some textures are more detailed and in higher resolution (especially on characters' suits - see ~00:50)
- lightning is yellowish (just like Deus Ex Human Revolution) whereas on mobile devices it was more or less orange
Just a bit over five hours, did everything and got most of the collectibles.
Not too bad for a mobile game I suppose (It is barely 2 GB) but things were just getting interesting and the story was picking up and then without warning you get a scene that obviously hints at something to come later and then yeah the "To be continued" screen comes up.
EDIT: Was this the game where future episodes would be added freely? Or was that some other title.
EDIT: Nice scaling on the card value too now that I've checked that.
(Value is pretty low of course but that line is pretty straight.)
Free episodes, I don't think so. What I remember is it was teased as the first of a series of episodes, but I think they have since decided mobile was the wrong platform and since they are already working on a proper Deus Ex PConsole game, I don't think there will be The Fall 2, 3, etc.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
knowing deus ex history, will hit 75% off in no time , probably for 2.5e is worth it and maybe by the time it hits discount they will patch it a little
Sooner or later i'm gonna play it but i'm curious about the story line. Does the game make the deux es universe any deeper or is it just a fun game with regular side story?
This game (not that it wasn't expected, but still)
The only positive aspects here are the Human Revolution-ish atmosphere with the same music and art style, the rest is a huge step back and frankly embarrassing for something released in 2014. It should have stayed mobile, like every other mobile game quickly ported on PC.
Yes it shares many gameplay elements with Human Revolution, but it's like one of those uber cheap bad Chinese knockoffs:
- Mouse controls are pretty terrible, with acceleration all over the place (had to put the sensitivity to 10, and it still felt sluggish)
- Awful graphics, blocky models and stiff animations. I presume these have been left unchanged because they couldn't be arsed
- No jump button (it's becoming a trend)
- Levels are small and not exactly inspired, the whole gameplay feels simplified for the iDerp audience
- Bad, bad AI
- Can't even turn off objective markers
- Dead bodies disappear into thin air after ~2 seconds
etc.
I would rather replay Invisible War than continue with this "thing".
Not only dialogues are missing - all combat sounds are also missing.
Also 1 time as I was going into cover to a table I fell through the world
edit: yes it's reproducible - get into cover behind a certain low table and then pickup a secretary from it - and you'll spawn halfway under the floor - any movement you make makes you fall through the world
edit2: also the mouse isn't contained in the monitor - regularly it moves into my 2-nd monitor..
edit3: another very annoying bug - sometimes you can't takeover a node while hacking - happened 2 times so far, 1-st time it was the exit node... the 2-nd was a cube node
