No, you cannot rotate anything - they stick to the road edge and there is no deviation - what I have always hated, is the huge space between house buildings the game leaves when using the default line road tool.

Actually the game leave this space to anticipate high density buildings size, in case you upgrade the road later.
The most annoying thing, is that you can't remove roads without nuking every single building attached to them later on.
So road network is to be planned carefully from the start or you are in trouble.

Sending resources to a Great Work site STILL grinds your entire production supply chain to a fucking halt. ALL of my trade-post delivery trucks (I tried with 4 and I tried with 12) get fucking mucked up on the region highway and pretty much never find their way back to my starting city.
How does one manage region road traffic? Obviously I can't edit the connections between cities. They're all stuck using one slow ass road to get to the Great Work site and back.
I've given up on finishing the Archology, despite the fact that I've got multiple cities pulling in millions of dollars a day. Getting the resources there is just too broken.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Ok so finally i got to try SimCity 5. I like it, but as many have mentioned the cities are waaaaay too small.
Are there good alternatives to SimCity, ie. Cities XL or Tropico? Which game can you guys recommend?

Cities XL is like SimCity, Tropico is pretty different.
PC: Yes. Console: No.

It's cool (more old settlers like S1-3), but currently lacking a lot of meat around the bones.

Played 10 hours of banished and it's quite entertaining.
Settlers is a good comparison, but it's like Settlers mixed with Dwarf Fortress (without the combat) as you can easily have your entire population starve to death and such.
It's all about maintaining balance in growth.

I feel sorry for the people that paid full price for this it's very poor reminds me of Sim Societies.
Sim City 4 is a far better game and once loads of mods have been added its great, this is what the new game should of been looking to build updated version of that.
