I think what syn was trying to say is that, no matter whether downloading, uploading, sharing, trading - whatever it is u wanna call it - would jepordize Nforce, plain and simple. As many use this site, the minute a link to a torrent or a leech server is put online I think the site would be shut down...just as if isonews were to do the same thing, they would be shut down (again) as well.
Don't take stuff like that personally man. Many of us who have been actively posting for a while (ive been here for a year or so I think) just get tired and fed up with ppl coming to this site, asking/expecting downloads and bitching when they are told that there are no downloads here. Nforce is simply a place where u can discuss numerous topics, in anyway u wish (well, there are a few exceptions). When it comes to opinions and ideas, the mods, for the most part, dont censor anything. The mods here aren't egomaniacs or on power trips, like some other internet forums (not specifically anyone, just in general). And, if u need help with something, most of the users are inclined to do so.
Thats what makes Nforce a good enough place already, why put the site at risk offering downloads.
And, truth be told, many of those who come here looking for downloads are "noobs" and cant find what they need else where. That is not Nforce's fault and its up to the user to accquire whatever it is he/she needs.
Hope that gives u a better view of nforce

I live in the Netherlands.
Omg you are incredibly dumb. Downloading software is illegal in the Netherlands, get your information correct. It is however legal to download music/movies, that's correct. But downloading via p2p (torrent) is illegal since you also upload.
Also torrent sites are (semi)legal, they get lawsuits from Stichting Brein (~=RIAA) or threats of lawsuits. So 90% of them close after a while.......
Try to start your own torrent site, and soon you'll get a e-mail from Stichting Brein and your hosting will probaly close the site.
Sure you might win the lawsuit, but would you like risk it. Even if you win you'll still lose a lot of money. Even if you win, new lawsuits pop up in other European countries and soon the law changes again and you'll have another lawsuits.
Also downloading isn't the point of this website, it's an index to see what's out. And a database to search who released what and when.
