UPDATE: We wanted to provide more detail about the delay of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike. We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs. We are working hard to resolve that issue now. Additionally, we have decided to delay the Xbox One version of Naval Strike because we want to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations.

We know that many Battlefield 4 Premium owners wanted to play Naval Strike today. However, we didn’t want to release the new content until we believed it was quality content.

We are trying to resolve these problems as quickly as possible and hope to release the update in early April for Xbox One and PC. We also want to remind Xbox One and PC owners of Battlefield 4 Premium that they will have two weeks early access for Naval Strike once it’s released. Thanks for your continued patience and passion for our games.

T minus 7 months, and I'll leave the rusted prison of obsolete PC equipment.

That time might actually be enough for DICE to fix all the bugs.

And the killcam is a recent issue.
Most of us are playing without experiencing any major issues. Now that the crashes are fixed, the problems that cause frustration are that of team balance and such - not the glitches or bugs, for the most part.

But there are a lot of small (perhaps you could even say cosmetic) issues that on the whole give an impression of a rather unpolished product. It was that way with BF3 too. Back then it felt like a very stable game, just that a few things were rough around the edges, so to speak. I expected them to polish it all up for BF4... but we all know how that turned out Very Happy

Also the running joke now is that DICE keeps failing to release even a single update without screwing something up, often in very unexpected ways (the killcam bug seems completely random, for example, taking into account what they updated). Many people seem to be annoyed by this, but I actually find it funny now Very Happy

Battlelog Update

Look at that:

Quote:
- Carrier Assault will not display scores in Live Scoreboard and BattleScreen; this will be fixed with the next Battlelog update in 2 weeks

They know something WILL BE broken when Naval Strike comes out. Outstanding! Laughing

Wrong, it's merely a switch they have to flip to make live scoreboard work, battlelog dev said they're gonna wait to make sure it's working fine first.

Quote just because you new avatar pic looks noice, especially on battlelog Smile

I don't mind the delay, gives me more time to play other games, climb that backlog mountain!

What I know, I'll be sitting in gunship when ever a seat is available and raping everyone, until BF4 forums are full of tears how stupid the buff was. Oh and transport choppa fun too Smile Rest of the fixes seemed ok.

-Fix for an issue where the ECM would sometimes fail to jam incoming missiles.

This was more like always, for me at least. PiiPiiPii -> ECM -> missile hits -> disabled -> wait for attack choppa to heal a bit -> oh AA has another 2 active radar shots already.. Smile

Hmh, seems like a lot of effort for the new phantom program / what ever easter egg(s) those are. Same dedication and DLC would be out already lag free Razz Just think they have cracked this before we get to even play, not that I'd go solving it, good way to kill hard earned SPM Cool Face
