If Laurentiu499 is bullshitting her, then i agree its a dick move, but that hardly makes him a sociopath and whatnot. The way some of you are acting i'm wondering what experience you have with reality where cheating occurs regularly. Does that make it right? Of course not but by the reactions of some here, i'd say they have been traumatized by cheating and are really just venting here. |
Finally a real discussion comes out of you rather than overused one liners like: 'Moral crusaders' and 'frustration' which was my purpose to type it like that.
And no no trauma's here or bad past experiences since I believe you usually get what you deserve. Seen enough of that with people that I know and usually it all boils down to them being cowardly or just without empathy.
It's just typical behaviour of people whom are pro to act all tough and alpha like rather than have a normal discussion. This 'IT guys' troll is a prime example and I'm not surprised that an individual like that got banned at all.
Like I said before if people have an agreement, they can do whatever they want, but robbing someone of the choice... 'a dick move' is putting it lightly and softening the blow. I'd rather be frank and stern so the message comes over what they are actually doing unto another human being.
I am fine if you have a different opinion but like I said before: I'd rather have a discussion than just the tiresome macho behaviour. And thanks for at least voicing your opinion even though I had to 'bait' it out of you. |
To be honest, you didn't need to bait me, since if you'd start an actual discussion i'd have obliged  But given the fact, that everyone before was saying things like "sociopath", "what a stud", "turd" etc. my comments about moral crusaders was totally in line with what others said.
I really dislike the whole alpha thing, since i find it rather stupid. I don't find cheating to be alpha and people who think they are alpha are usually quite sad individuals, trying their best to keep up appearances. Anyway, even if OP is lying to his current girl, its sadly a lesson she and he will have to learn. Its sometimes hard to have a high level of self-reflection (some never do), but calling him out on such matters serves no purpose. And honestly he'll get what he'll get (rarely people get what they deserve). If he's screwing the girl over, she'll dump him and hopefully learn a life lesson and maybe reflect on the situation.
I have known quite a few people who didn't lack empathy and cheated, why i don't even want to get into, but all in all i fail to see how its for people to judge. Especially if they have never been in a situation where they could have cheated at all. I dislike extreme statements like, "i would never cheat". People aren't perfect as is shown by my Freud comment, but i gladly take it on the chin. These things happen.
