Actually, this is not how it works. Yes, you can reset the first time, and then start from Act 5, but when you finish that act, you can't reset right away, you still have to do every quest act1-act4. I reset my quests after killing Malthael, did a speedrun on act5 for the achievement and the option is greyed out.
edit: The only thing I can think of, is that I didn't do the companion quest in the speedrun playthrough. But those are optional, like events, they don't count for reset quest completion? |
Are you guys serious because i thought it was a serious trolling attempt.
I had everything completed on my monk but i can only reset quests whcih will reset everything till act1. No option to only reset 5

Yeah, if you reset the quests, press change, and choose the act5 starting quest. But as I said, you can do this once, if you want to reset again, you have to clear the whole game again, not just act5.

Ah okay that makes sense. Didnt see the option on my monk though while i cleared the complete game and act 5 only once.

only on malthael and only on the first time. so be sure you are already lvl70 and kill him on atlest torment1

I'm fairly sure Blizzard said something about the player getting better loot if they did that reset quest thing, however instead of being Butcher it was changed to Diablo as of a hotfix for 2.0.3 I think, however I am unsure if it's Malthael instead of Diablo for those who have the expansion content.
EDIT: Yeah you get a 100% chance of a legendary item dropping.
(And as of the same update I believe Blizzard also made it so Rare quality items are always dropping though you can still get Magical or stuff like gems and gold.)

instead they should fix the bounty bug. you can do them in normal, keep the cube, open another game on torment difficult and open the stuff. you will get the torment drops... dont know if someone already posted this

works fine here on eu server, queue position 1. logged in after a few secs. but already had massive lags yesterday. hope they can fix the problem soon

Was going to play some "single" player, and farm some mats for a set item. Nice meeting a queue position of 600 which means almost an hour of waiting. Fuck Blizzard for forcing always online.

Is there any difference between torment drops and normal drops?
EDIT - for the bags, i mean. |
better chance for legs and legs only in Torment.
I suspect this is going to get nerfed/fixed pretty quick... |

They're having some technical issues whatever those might be, I tried Diablo 3 just to see what would happen and when it finally started authentication I was put in cue position 996 so I quit out of the game since that would have taken hours otherwise.

Today mid day PST I had some serious latency issues with the game, which almost caused me to die twice.
My specs:

Finished the Expansion on Expert...Malthael tooked me nearly 15mins the bastard,specially he ALMOST killed me with the TROLLING Ground Attack...So spamming
At the last dungeon, however,i got a Legen'(dary) Axe with a 1.360 around "big numbers", 1,30 speed and ,adding a sweet new red jewel, +1000-1300 attack, also Health per hit and well, in total a +30% better damage than my ol' sword of 1,15 speed
Will try Adventure mode later..hopefully it's worth..something i should know about it?

just finished the expansion, was playing on master the whole way but got to malthael and it was just bs. it would have taken me ages just to kill him but I just could not last long enough. I had to switch to a lower level just to beat him as I just didn't have the patience.
the other two bosses were rather easy, took a like 5-10 mins but I was never really threatened but the final boss was a whole different story.
got a god sword of him though.
I went back and helped a mate on normal, it's a laugh because I pretty much 1 hit everything.
