I played a round, the map was cool, it had a crashed plane in the middle of it. There was a korean guy with no ping being displayed in a scout being repaired who was impossible to hit which kind of dampened by enjoyment. Such a flagrant display of both the netcode of BF4 and vehicle balance is hard to ignore.
-Fix for an issue where explosions didn’t do any damage to infantry and vehicles that were outside of the combat area.

I know this was reported quite early on, but personally I only experienced this once, and that was very recently as well. Maybe a week or two ago.
Aside from that one time, I have hit plenty of vehicles with my TV missiles that were outside the combat area with no issues, so I think the bug wasn't quite as straight forward as was presented before.
Premium or non-Premium users, did you get 4 Gold Battlepacks? I had a couple of weapon battlepacks, and at the end of all of them I had 4 Gold ones, don't know from where....
I took a shot and holly crap it really works well. Can't believe I got 27 kills without need to shoot 10 000 bullets and pray all the Gods in the world. I'm not sure was it one game, one server in one life but it really worked damn well even though playing Rush 'alone' with idiots it's pretty annoying.
Well, as far as "testing" in general goes, I guess we will see later today, although in a quick run I did earlier today I did not see anything that different.
As for that report... looks pretty standard to me, so I am not sure what we are supposed to be seeing.

Ok so in carrier assault, the enemy can spawn on each others carriers, but you can't spawn on your own carrier. That's the most retarded thing I've ever seen
I have a Titanium HD and it really does make a huge difference compared to my onboard Realtek and my old Xonar DG. I almost never get knifed now because I can hear people running up behind me. Also good for hearing footsteps from the other side of a wall.

While you mention it, i got very lucky before today where two times people ran behind me and tried to knife me.
First time i was just turning around when he knifed me, and so countered him.
Second time i saw him running in the bushes behind me and killed him with a panic shot from my sniper
Felt good after i got dominated the first two rounds

So, already played a good number of rounds of Carrier Assault. It's not as awesome as Titan mode but it's pretty close Only thing missing IMO is the carrier destruction sequence where the winning team needs to leave the enemy carrier before it explodes, it was a great way of ending Titan matches back in 2142, and very rewarding.
Anyway, matches are still very odd as it is, you can see a "WTF? We had all flags and still lose?" or "Hackz!!!" in the chat area after virtually every single round It will get much better when those people finally learn what it's about
And the Sound Bugs are back...
Played one round yesterday with allmost no sound, besides a faint pew here and there..couldnt even hear where what was coming from. But at least the voices did work good.. yes sir, granaaadeee!!! i really could give a damn about these voices.. i need Game Sound argh...
happened 3 times out of 5 games, when i was testing Today..
i hope it gets better this evening when we all play...
