Ride Along - 1/10

Worst movie in a looong time, yes expectations were low but god damn that was atrocious, Kevin is just not funny, Ice has completely lost any little acting skills he ever had, puns on gaming and the movie 'Training day' were not original or funny, SKIP.

lol this movie was in my eyes way better than anchorman.
I blame the ganja!

300: Rise of an Empire - 6.5/10

Finally got around to watching this, Eva Green was just Me Gusta , the fight scenes were enjoyable, the lead was somewhat underwhelming which is a shame because he's enjoyable to watch on Strike Back.

The one thing that bothered me was Lena Headey's acting, there was something about it that made her annoying to watch and listen to.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

In other news:

Hide Your Smiling Faces

Difficult, too artistic and enigmatic at times.

It's a 7.5/10 by me but I need to watch it a second time as I was somewhat tired the first time and I should have paid more attention to character developing and their emotions.

Better than Hunger Games? I read the books, and they're in the same category (not that deep xD)

The Raid 2 10/10 so much testosterone in one movie that I grew a second set of balls and new penis.

Jokes aside. Movie was absolutely magnificent. Awesome choreography and no shaky cam.

1/10 - 5 minutes worth of average action scenes ... it looked like Uwe Boll movie to me.
Went to watch who directed it. Surprise surprise Renny Harlin. Then saw the 70mil budget and it all made sense. He laundered money again because no way would a movie with such quality be so expensive to make.

Somebody needs to finnish his career. Razz

The Challenger - 8/10

Surprisingly good TV movie about the commission that investigated the Challenger disaster back in 86, William Hurt gives a very believable interpretation of Feynman.

Noah: 5.5 out of 10
From the changes to the story, to how story slows and drags immediately after the flood, to how you can't take Russell crow seriously as a prophet.... All bad deals.

Lego movie: 10/10
Honestly don't remember enjoying a movie this much in years. Love Legos too!

Hustlers club: 7/10
Not sure what the buzz was... Meh story with sort of predictable ending... Good period clothing and setting.

Anchor man 2: 6/10
I loveeeeeeeeeeddddd first one, so my expectations were high, this one was horrible compared to that one. Rehashed story, jokes not clicking, awkward bombs, just no. Some funny moments no doubt, but compared to first one? Not even the same league

Snowpiercer - 7/10

It's hard for me to rate this movie, because it had all the potential to be excellent, but the inconsistencies, so-so acting and questionable logic behind some aspects partially curbed my enthusiasm and sci-fi boner. Razz

It kinda angers me because it alternates great moments with dumb scenes and absurd ideas which come off as pretentious. That said, and despite everything, I still liked the movie, because it managed to be more unique and entertaining than many other hollypoop pseudo-sci-fi flicks.

yep same here 7/10

its quite unique and that is due to it basically being a korean film,
directed by the director of the host and memories of murder,
produced by the director of the original oldboy and sympathy for mr./lady vengeance.

finally got around to watching stardust

pretty good, but for some reason, it just felt a little... weird... not its story, just how it was put together felt a bit uneven, even though i cant really put my finger on what felt 'off' exactly.. but overall i enjoyed it

6.5/10

the score was fantastic.

Metro Manila. 7.5 - 8 / 10

*note, i might be biased because robin foster composed the soundtrack, and since he's simply brilliant, the story, pictures combined with his music ended up being a definite 'should see sooner than later' movie

7.5/10

Really funny movie, some great lines by Jason Bateman. Not too long or played out, good pacing, funny jokes. Enjoyed it.

Goodbye World - 7.5/10

A very realistic and grounded on reality apocalypse film, I was shocked and surprised that it had such bad ratings on both imdb and rotten tomatoes, considering how captivating and fluid the entire movie was.

The Social Network - 7.5/10

What a nerdy movie Very Happy Fincher definitely did better and I only watched this one cause he directed it.

Dude doesn't seem like a likable guy, more like the next Steve Jobs and not Gates who donates a lot to charity.
