After watching the video, that thing seem to come from the bug itself, not blood from the hand. Some kind of bug-saliva-mucus-ooze.

I'm surprisingly ok with that gif. Looking at a simple spider picture will give me an instant flight-response, but show me a pic of a 3 feet long cricket that can eat your head whole, and I'm ok. Very Happy
