Exactly what i thought as well. But didn't the old actor play him as portrayed in the book or did he add his own spice to the character?

i have not read the books, but according to people who did:

Quote:
Old Daario may not have looked like book Daario, but he acted like him. Definitely confident and doesn't really give a fuck. And you weren't sure if you should trust him or not. I thought he was great! New Daario was not so impressive in last night's episode, but maybe he will redeem himself as the season continues.

Quote:
Book Daario is gaudy and suave as hell. The old Daario might not have been blue bearded or anything, but he had the personality I imagined from the books. This new sensitive, bland Daario was a step in the wrong direction in my opinion.

Quote:
My guess is that they are merging Daario's character with Strong Belwas. That's why they've gone for it. Belwas won't exist. And from the trailer for season 4, no spoiler, it's pretty much confirmed they are doing away with his character.

But so in truth, it kind of was a perfect fit. My working theory is people hate him cause they rooted for Jorah to end up with Daenery's and this guy shows up as a complication Razz

Jorah is, like they say nowadays, in the "friendzone".

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I really liked the baby face daario. Everything except the looks were like I imagined and remembered, but Ill give the new one a few episodes before blasting him and tbh I dont really care about daenerys' story line from this point on. gets kinda boring

It's a good deal more boring than you imagine probably Laughing I hope the script writers will revise her story extensively.

Great start
The Hound lines where hilarious from; "whats a Loomy " to "I´ll have to eat all the chickens"
The other Daarius looked like a contender this one looks right to pick flowers.

I hate it when that happens, especially in games when you can't skip it by pressing A. Same with books really, too many words in those.

Yeah dude, the series focuses on the politics of the series, not Lord of Ring-esque battle montages.

Good first episode, but I also prefer old Daario. He was perfect(ly annoying) Very Happy

The Red Viper was disappointing though, almost as bland as the new Daario.
