I absolutely detest these low life social degenerates who are constantly whinning on the bz forum. None of them would have lasted in the previous diabl entries, NONE!

Diablo 3 is NOT as bad as diablo 2 was in terms of INSANE low drop rates, some items had such a low drop rate you could play for years, most people resorted to exploiting (forum gold d2jsp) etc.

"Uh bliiz pliz help, i playedf 5 hours This w33k but i not get good leg, help now plz"

I swear Rolling Eyes

Drop rates are fine, deal with it or leave the game. I feel sorry for the devs on that forum, finding any constructive thread is almost impossible.

game turned pretty hard now... with my lvl 67 barbarian, most of the prior legendary and those green equipment are now useless. rare items that i've founded has far better basic stats... tried torment1 yesterday and goy insta killed by a random minion Razz

im doing 115.000 dmg and with that, i was ok before the expansion, now seems like a beginner stat.

couldn't finnish the expansion yet, as in the pandemonium level i was getting slaughtered by the elites.

will give it more hours of play, i hope to find better loot...

and... is it just me, or was multiplayer more fun before???

Yeah ~66 to 70 is going to be a bit of a drag since you are stuck with equipment at item level 61 until you reach 70 and the new stuff starts dropping.

No point to start farming Torment 1 till you reach 70 and you have some decent gear, you'll get your ass owned, T1 is not the same as the one from 60.

Get geared best you can, on all the other four diffs, go with Hard I'd say, reach 70 and start farming, do bounties for caches, join some MP on Normal.

Also don't kill Malthael till you're 70, so you get the 100% leg drop, repear's braces and the material for it.

I have around 300k life and 108k dps. if there is any build that can help with this quest thanks. aside that I am farming for better items or leveling up

Turn to easier level Razz

I don't see the problem with that quest though. Never died doing it. done it with barb, dh and wiz.
On dh and barb I did it on T2.

My Dh is the normal Cluster Arrow build.

problem is that weapons dropping below 70 (and quest items too) are still bugged at 61 66 and 70
the chance for blizz fixing that : 0

Not a bug though.

The stated that they decided not to make drops for the gaps, however, the iLevel in the item is still random. so you could get the level 61 item, with affixes/prefixes for level 69.
Of course the base DPS/armor is then from the 61 weapon/armor -> automatically worse than majority of 70 weapons/armor.

"Not a bug?!"

I am already having problems with not being properly geared with my first templar run on Master difficulty (so not "heirlooms" and legendaries gemmed from previous runs). Level 59 and I am already deep into RoS. Struggling with finding various skill combos to scratch mobs and to survive. Oh dear... Laughing

Farming is out of the question, of course.

Not a bug, as in it is by design.

do I have to quote a whole fucking forum for your lazy ass:
Quote:

It looks like there was a little confusion on this topic, so allow me to clarify - there is not a bug involved here. Required level is not the same thing as an item’s power level, and it definitely does not mean a level 69 character should feel uncomfortable about using an item that specifies “Requires Level 61.” Items saying "Requires Level 61" on them is by design. The item can be at a power level intended for level 68 or 69 characters but we let players use it at Level 61 - this is intentional.

A primary boon of this approach is you know that items you find early on in your leveling experience (around 61-62) aren't replaced immediately upon reaching 63. That awesome item you found at 61 should be able to stick with you up through 69. When there are too many tiers of items, you transition through them rapidly and the items start to feel transient. Why bother gemming or enchanting an item if you expect to find an upgrade in 30 minutes? The Mystic’s Enchanting is powerful, but it doesn't feel worth using if you don’t have confidence your item will still be useful in 2 levels. Another benefit of this design choice is that it is alt-friendly. We think it's really fun to have the option to twink characters. Why not allow items you find at the upper echelons of the 60's to be passed down to your new characters fairly easily?

This does have some downsides, including that upgrades can feel a little sparse between the latter levels before cap (66-69). However, in this situation, we felt the benefits outweighed the detriments and it keeps the element of randomness that we feel is core to the Diablo experience. We want to ensure there is a chance to find an amazing top tier item the moment you ding 61 and get to hold on to it for hours if fortune smiles upon you, though that may mean it takes a little longer to find an upgrade for that particular slot.

So fucking what? Reduce the difficulty until you find decent gear. In a game as random as this there's no shame. Besides, going from your level to 70 is extremely quick especially doing bounties and rifts.

Possibly a stupud question and laugh if you feel the need Smile . But define farming exactly?

I am level 65, have finished all the acts and am now doing the bounties and rifts (or whatever they are called)

1.Am I farming?

2.If not what exactly denotes farming?

3.As I have finished the acts, and once I reach level 70, what exactly is there left to do?

Do legendary crafting items reset your "failsafe" mechanism they have built in? I found 2 in like 2-3 hours the other night and no other legendary items. Honestly, I'm about getting bored of the game. If there was some real end game or goal, but it just seems all you do is farm, so you can get better gear to up the difficulty, to farm some more. The rifts are different, but not by much. Adventure mode is just doing bits and pieces of campaign more for extra loot and rift shards or whatever they are called...

It's too bad Blizzard's focus is just getting something out so they can port it over to the consoles. They used to care about making a great product. It's ashamed they have no real end game content, no PVP even after all this time. Loot design is still garbage. I don't know, I realize a lot of you guys are loving it and all, and maybe if I didn't play 3-4 hours and get the same on junk drops, but this game is still so flawed it's not even funny, at least for me personally.

After a nearly complete month of playing Act 5 on Torment 1/2 with a full party, all i can say is, i'm getting tired of this game already... Most of the legendary drops are below my actual set and kinda helpless, even after using Kadala

It's wasting my time IMHO, deleted the game until further update or something..meanwhile i'll do something else

I don't understand some of you.

This is a SEQUEL, it's a franchise. There is suppose to be a LOW droprate for super legendaries, welcome to 1996 gentlemen.

Did you fail to see the number "3" when you bought the game?

I hope blizzard doesn't furhter nerf the loot tables to cater to the attention audience. If you think this is bad then look at diablo 2 unless you exploited the game, a lot of the end gear could take months to years for you to ever get.

Endgame? Get better gear, beat T6 or complete hellfire ring.

PVP is and will never be considered endgame in any form.

Should blizzard offer more incentive endgame content? Sure, ROS hasn't been out for a month, give it time. Ladders will arrive eventually.

But don't come here whinning there's no endgame because pvp is missing. How exactly would pvp in any form equal ENDgame?

I'm playing the crusader, one of the hardest classes to get good loot with and paper dps. But i'm not bitching because it doesnt rain super duper legs every hour. Play the game and stop worrying about legs and they will arrive. A few days ago me and my brother co-op'd on ACT v, start to scratch as in bounties, events, bosses, we had a blast and ended up owning a few good legs in return Smile

Diablo 3 <------ does that mean there were 2 other games in the past? Maybe I should read a review what diablo is all about.

I bought call of duty 42, and my god after 3 months I got so tired of the constant FPS element. Gonna check out call of duty 58 now

I think the legendary drop rates, after the hotfixes to torment difficulties and further hotfixes to Rift drop rates, are pretty reasonable. Class sets seem a bit rare, but maybe I just feel that way because I really, really want the full Crusader set. 2/6 pieces so far after..let me see...92 hours on Crusader.

The worst part imo was the beginning, especially when I got a friend to powerlevel my crusader to 70 and I started gearing. I was missing everything - materials, Death's Breaths (lol I have 1000+ now), Forgotten souls (sitting on 50+ now). The only thing I have plenty of is gold.

Once you farm for a bit and you have a decent gearset going, at least in my experience, you don't really crave legendaries as much. You just play and enjoy yourself and then when something interesting drops you see if it's an upgrade or if you can make a different build etc.

Yes, a large portion of the legendaries kinda suck and will be salvaged, moreso if you don't play alts or don't care much for experimenting with builds. Then things will get old very fast.

But, the game was always, and always will be, about the gear grind. They can add whatever "endgame" nonsense they want, it will still be the same. Kill monsters, get loot.

Or you know...open chests, get loot. Cool Face
