I think it's too early to tell. Maybe next week it will all clear up. RU steam store purchases seem to be effectively locked though.

Don't know if buying it from GMG with the credits and coupon, or saving the credits and buying a cheap key

He says there will be a later article that discusses modding possibilities:

Quote:
Of course, we wouldn’t be PC gamers if we were not always looking to get even more out of our games. In future articles we will look at some tweaks using generic tools in order to further improve Dark Souls 2’s graphics, and later on investigate its technology in more depth to determine what else might be possible with game-specific modifications.

With all in-game settings maximized and rendering at 2560x1440, I never noticed a single drop below 60 FPS on my PC (equipped with a Core i7 920 CPU and Geforce GTX770 GPU).
Damn you durante, I don't need you testing it on a "modest" system, I need those tests on a shit system like mine Laughing

But if it runs that good on that machine then I'll expect it running better than the first on my machine. Probably a mistake but... eh Neutral

That's a pretty indepth writeup and it does look like FROM have learned from their catastrophic failure of the first game, though it's still a shame that even the PC version had the E3 lighting/clutter stripped from the game.

I'm sure it will still be a great game despite this lighting farce.
The delay might have helped me as the price of my preorder has dropped by £21/$35 for the Collector's Edition, that's so I'm happy with that Very Happy

The game might be available for pre-loading tomorrow, though this is not a official statement. Smile

Not that it really means anything much since the Steam preload files are encrypted but it should still help for those who own the game since it won't be a massive hit to the Steam servers on Friday. Very Happy

Finally playd Dark Souls(first one) for First time, and it has SOTC feel on it(atmosphire, and the More "Realistic Feel),feel Very Hardcore RPG,stopped counting the times I died at second level, being bussy colleting the lost souls, wow, the Enemies are hard as hell, also,if I understand correctly, souls are for money and highring your stats,if you already used them, you can't actually "lose" what you bought with it,right?
