Keep in mind that sometimes virus are "found" by antivirus software, although they dont
exist... Not saying its the case here, just pointing out that sometimes those programs
are fooled (either its on purpose or not). Something in the files is matching the "hash" the
antisoft uses... or somthing simular...

why would it not work ? just mount in daemon i heard and it works.
You should also add this to your hosts file in windows:
127.0.0.1 q4master.idsoftware.com to prevent CD key check.

I heard it checks CD-Key online so you need to disconnect from internet or it will not start at all. Is it true? Can anyone confirm the release works fine with cd-key in nfo? Thanx

i asked if all versions of quake4 was the same (eg. quake4clonecd is on mininova and newsgroups, are they the same -_-)
and if so could someone veryify those are the working ones

no you didn't understand me. there is only one real release of quake 4 as of yet. if you want to know if your source is this release or a fake ask the people providing you with the release. goto that torrent forum and see if there is talk about a fake. it doesn't belong here since we are no forum about downloading, but a forum about the release itself. we do not like people to come here to make sure they do not download a fake or aid you in any other way in obtaining illegal files.

Lol ok im also a noob. When i open it there is this: 127.0.0.1 localhost.
So what i must do is delete localhost and add q4master.idsoftware.com right?
