Those who bought on GMG- check out your libraries on GMG.com . I didn't receive an e-mail like usual, but the key was there, preloading now.

Huh only 15€ @ cddiski, pretty tempting.
But I somehow have the feeling that these keys will be locked shortly before or shortly after the release, don't know why

That last pic is in a part of the game that you don't even notice unless you're looking for something to bitch about. I played through it twice and never noticed it until someone pointed it out and it looks alot worse on console. Not defending it, just pointing out you can find shitty textures/backgroudn that doesnt look right in any game if you look hard enough.

But if there is one thing DS2 is much inferior to DS1 is their background. In DS1 I can almost always see the neighboring location. You can always look back and see where you have been, how they are connected geographically. DS2 has a lot of going into tunnels that lead to a completely different location. DS1's tunnels were better design in that they feel natural.
Spoiler: | Things Betwixt -> Majula, Majula ->Forest and Heide and Huntsmen. Earthen Peak -> Iron Keep. I can keep listing, but now that I have to try and remember where else are connected with tunnels. Well Harvest Valley -> Earthen Peak, Lost Bastile -> to anywhere are the only one I can think of are not. I've not killed all 4 boss yet, so no idea what happens after the door in Shaded Woods. |
Granted I've only played 20hours on xbox and I was spending most of my time testing builds and optimizing runs and paths rather than actually exploring. But still, I wasn't too impressed by the level design this time around as before.
