I download "Ultimate Spiderman" and it doesn't seem to work. I downloaded 3 different types of crack for the game even the FIX version of the crack. One I start the game(DOUBLE CLICK ON USM) I get an error message

Ultimate Spiderman has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Can anyone help me fix that so I can play this game Very Happy

SPECS.

WIN XP PRO
PENITUM D 2.8GHz
250GB
1GB RAM
NVIDIA 7800 GTX

ur specs have nothing to do with the fact that windows may be bogged down with errors...ur processor, graphic card, memory etc having nothing to do with Windows in this case....

And yeah, the game isnt optimized...but it did run nice and smooth on my system

7800GTX??!!!
fucking good game!!
but still the problem is in the windows...

I was told spider man has something to do with my registry.
It detected crack and it locked me out, anyway I can by pass that?

I got the one from Deviance (3 CD´s and in each one a heck of a lot of .rar files ) and I burned the .cue from the rar files with nero, things where going Ok, but then I installed it. After that I went to play And It worked fine... but as I kept playing It got late, so I wanted to quit, but Escape did not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I could not go to the pause menu!!!!!!! All my hours of playing flushed to the drain!!!!!!!. So I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Del and I killed the game.
I went another time to play but this time I configured the controls, still ESC wont work...
Can any one please help me, I cant save-game, cant do nothing without escape key
please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smile

Try disabling any refresh rate locking programs you might have installed (like Reforce).. I had the same issue with this game and solved it by disabling my reforce program (I just re-enable it after I play). That also happened to me on BF2!

Thanks for the help, but I am not having the problem any more... the problem was that I had just buyed an Radeon Video Card and I forgot to install the driver, so technically I had no video and the menu used a 32 bit resolution wich i didint have

I still have this problem with ati Catalyst 5.10 installed

any ideas - this is the only game that does this

I am going to try reinstalling the video drivers
