so... will blocking the game in firewall actually prevent players from invading me? 
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

I don't get it. Why block invaders? it's one of the games features. I can't imagine playing DS in offline mode...that's boring. No messages on the ground, no help, no pvp...pssshhh
Oh, and if you really don't want to be invaded, just BURN a human effigy in the bonfire and no one can invade you.
seriously...please don't play the game if you're going to play in offline mode. so fracking boring...and those are the people saying "ughh....I mean....uhghhhh...ye....this game is kinda ...boooooring :'("

I don't know, but I've never encountered a hacker/cheater in DS 1 (PC). I guess I was lucky. Always had fun, even tho I raged a lot.
I had many laggers on the PS3 (DS2), but that's it.
Just burn the human effigy and you'll be save and you can still read msg's on the ground.

Guess that's what I'll do. I enjoyed DS1 going solo, without any random dudes with weird names invading and breaking the immersion.

opinions
I enjoyed more defeating bosses on my own solo (even without help of NPC phantoms)

Don't think so. This is NVIDIA only, maybe Durante will make a "dsfix" for ds2 as well for everyone but until then nope.

I had a bad experience with hackers in DS. No thank you. I will be pvping but first I want to get to know the game without getting distracted by grifters, cheaters and pvp enthusiasts.
As for human effigy.. ru going to be my dealer then? Coz they work only for 1 hour and you need to farm for them coz vendors who sell effigies have a limited amount.

Does anyone knows if it is possible to unlock earlier by using a japanese VPN? (never did something like this with steam)

Its not sure yet if your version is ROW i mean.
JP version has different depots for everything and its not sure if they will release the decryption keys for all depots after 1h 30m or just for JP version.
If you have JP version then yes you will be able with VPN.
If you have ROW version you will be able to do it with JP VPN only if they release ROW deptots key\s too.

Nope just start JP VPN - Start steam and try to unlock as usual

Weird. Maybe a problem with your system? I've never had such problems with any version of RadeonPro. |
Check the support section on the forums, the threads started more than a year ago. Recent threads all have the same problem. My system is windows 8.1, same issues on windows 7.

Unfortunately the author has stopped development on 2.0 / Infinity and joined the development of Raptr so for now work on RP is suspended but yeah there are a couple of known issues and other bugs in the current 1.1.1.0 build, including the latest beta release.
I liked the program even though I mostly used it for SMAA and screenshot functionality though at the moment I've switched to MSI Afterburner but the developer of that program is a bit worn out due to the constant criticism of the lengthy v3.0 beta which is now going to be out of beta status shortly since MSI seems to be pushing for a final version ASAP so at the moment new features and such is also stopped on that program and it's unknown if there will be any future public beta releases. |
Which is a downright shame since the only alternative is catalyst which is ...yeah.... I've had numerous beta versions emailed to me from devs/users on rp, except for the main dev himself. But none of them solves the bugs we currently have with the 2013 version. I'm not a dev, but it's still sad when "John" (rp dev) just ignores anyone who asks him directly when/if/will rp be fixed updated to 2.0.
Wasn't 2.0 supposed to have been released a year ago?
