Damn, that old king is one annoying fuck. He's kind of easy, but your dodging needs to be precise or else he hits you for a truckload. I'm not too good at dodging which is why i chose heavy armor and shield, and it has served me well until this boss. 2 shot him on 360, but now i'm kind of struggling
Just put 20 or 22 points into faith for the lightning spear (and some other nice spells while at it).
Damn is that shit strong for being ranged
And that Lightning Storm spell
Also arrived at that JABBA boss Very funny boss (especially after he eat you)

Game is now VAC potected (or it was from the beginning but it's now on the store page) by the way i sure hope this doesn't affect sweetfx, GeDoSaTo or x360ce.

I wanted to sprint to that fog gate to see what was behind it, but those ninjas wouldn't let me.
Since I didnt know what was behind the gate I didnt want to kill them and then just end up losing their souls to whatever was behind the gate, so I cleaned them out the 10 times till the path to the gate was clear. I gained about 10 levels doing that. Then finally went through the gate and was instantly killed, as I knew I would be. I was hollow, 1/2 health and had 108 souls, so I LOST NOTHIING.
HAHAHAH TAKE THAT, STUPID GAME!
Seriously though I've probably lost over 100 thousand souls from dying before getting to my bloodstain. I could be another 10 levels higher that I already am. The time when I lost 20k hurt pretty bad.
Do you guys alt-f4 after exiting the game or do you use the quit option in the main menu?
(Takes longer to quit in the main menu since i'm "playing offline")
Anybody else got the problem that you cant load your (old) savegame when you re-installed the game (Ver. DS2-RLD) ? I noticed that after a re-installtion a new "a5j78gfde4d"(or whatever) directory is being created where the savegames are stored. But copying the savegame from old directory wont help - it cant be loaded.
Anybody knowing a working method of savegame-transfer to a new installation?
I mean, imiagine you have some type of crash after spending months of gaming raising your NG+++ char, then you re-install the game and want to import you savegame-backup (hopefully) ... and everything is gone
