time to finally relax and play some other non masochistic game

edit: and yes ixi, you're kinda near the end, just a couple more hours of butt rape

Haha yep, the video pretty much covers it. Razz I'm playing the various "memories" that I've just accidentally discovered, one of them is tough as hell. Then I'll see if I can find that last boss to close the circle!

that dragon is sinister according to the lore, he's not really pet material

Good luck with that dragon. Laughing
I was not able to beat him until I consulted with wiki and obtained certain ring that will make that fight much easier. (And I bet 99% of players didn't get that on their first playthrough either as it requires burning Bonefire Ascetic in certain area)...

undress completely, only keeping a weapon and a shield maybe too,
when he raises his head, run diagonally either to the left or right, while closing in on him and then hacking away at his feet.
as soon as his wings start moving, run the fuck away, preferrably the opposite direction he is facing.
once he lands back on his feet, run up to him again, 90% of the time he will raise his head again, then rinse and repeat.

the fight is actually quite simple, its very methodical and doesnt require reflexes at all, just planning.

I'd say something about overcompensating but I was using a even bigger sword for most of the second playthrough so that's not going to work.
(Got the royal sword after a while however so now I'm using that, took the shield the first time.)

Theres absolutely no point in having a shield when fighting the ancient dragon because ALL of his attacks are 1 shot kills if they land shield or not unless you have a certain ring that's only available in NG+ or bonfire aesthetic a certain area!
oh and as for lore he's not realy an ancient dragon at all he's Lord Aldia vendricks brother, the real ancient dragon can be found in the game though!
edit: ok just found out you can dual wield shields and will block his fire attack aslong as you've got enough stamina.

well, an upgraded gyrm greatshield with a high stability (80 or higher) can withstand one second of the flame attack on a full stamina bar, after 2 seconds youre dead.
so yea, its pretty much useless in that fight.

You need to 2 hand the shield for that to work also it needs to be +10, i had a shit load of stamina so i managed to block 2 hits, also standing in the central blast zone is gonna fuck you up.

I managed to survive the very first flame breath cause i didn't know what the fuck was going on, just kept my shield up. Beginners luck i guess Confused after that it grilled me pretty harshly each time.

The boss in itself was pretty damn easy though, i just kept making silly mistakes. 3/4 hit one foot and move away. If he dragon turns towards you, run to the other front foot and hit it a few times, and move away again. Rinse and repeat. If he turns towards you, you're fine, but if he flaps his wings then get the fuck away.

With those you should have all of them.
(Rotten, Freya/Vengarl, Sinner and Iron King)

the rotten, freya, lost sinner and old iron king are the 4 great souls, if you killed the rotten then you have all of them.
dont be confused by the look of the souls themselves, i think freya´s soul looks like a normal boss soul and not like the other great souls, but still is one.

It seems a bit random to me, most of the souls have the usual slightly larger golden hue and then you have the large fiery looking ones but that's not limited to just those four and then there's the other ones.

that's a good choice too, but i did like the move set of dragnliec sword a lot more, the mace's reach is quite small.

That's a Heide knight, you should have encountered at least one before, they're passive.

He is very easy but takes a lot of time. Just dodge all his attacks at the very last second and apply two hits and then back away.
