I'd start small. Try some kind of outdoors activity, jogging, cycling, anything to get you out of the rut. Breaking the evil routine that is making you miserable is the key Wink

Yeah, I've read somewhere physical activity that helps alleviate depression a lot. It stimulates our brains to release serotonin which is the "key ingredient" of feeling better during such periods.

Well, it's stimulated by certain food, sunlight, contact with people, nature, etc... Works quite similar to SSRI pills but is 100% natural.

When I get super depressed, I tell myself: if I kill myself, I'll miss all those cool pew pew movies to see, and I'd really like to see them. It sounds stupid, but it actually works Very Happy

The problem is - I just don't have much of these events I look forward to. (We even had a thread about this recently iirc.) E3 live broadcast is one of those few. Very Happy

As for gaming, I don't know. I think one has to be really resistant to all the let downs game publishers are serving us. I've already been through so many that I cannot stay excited about anything any more. Something looks cool -> DLC's and season pass announced -> next month - microtransactions -> next month - hybrid multiplayer -> etc...

'I'm too old for this shit!' - said feeling like a dinosaur.

Besides; another year, another Call of Duty/AC/Uncharted... Games are usually good (or "good") but there's nothing to be excited about anymore. Time to change the hobby, I guess.

Why cannot we be kinds anymore?! Damnit! Laughing

It's poland full of hot girls, start getting educated on how to hustle pussy right now and watch your entire being change.
I can offer lessons.

Haha! Very Happy Funny thing is there's a really pretty natural redhead living only a few doors away from me. She's single right now as far as I know.
(Was going to get married but broke-up last moment. Maybe it's a sign from heaven I should not miss. Laughing)

I was thinking about meeting girls. Though how can I have a girlfriend when I have no cash, no car, no job, no ambition, etc...

On the other hand; maybe if I had a girlfriend, it would stimulate me to get a job, have an ambition to do something, etc... Very Happy

(Everything depends on the way you look at things.)

@Bendi Thanks for including the helpful links.

I've read a lot from these sites during the past days and ACoA might indeed be the problem here. Sad

Wondering what tomorrow will bring.

Gladly everything is all right today. Father usually drinks for 2-3 days in a row, so color me a bit surprised.

Maybe mom hiding the booze away from him did bring some effect after all.
