So what's the general consensus on season 2, I loved the first season, and have already purchased season 2 but have been holding off on playing so I could just beat all the eps at my own leisure.

Well so far it is not as good as the first season (really loved that one). For me season 2 has no likeable characters, I just don't feel connected to any of the new characters like I did with the first season. First season has dislikeable characters but at least you connected with them.
In season two they are all either douchebags or idiots.
I had worries when I heard Clem would be the main character, but they really did a good job on her and how she 'changed'. Story is a lot darker and I like that approach, it feels way shorter since you are constantly on the move which in turn makes you connect less to the environment.
I think they should have made the game/episodes longer because of this constantly on the move direction they went with. Overall I'd say it's still a good game, but compared to the first one it falls short ( I really do like the darker tone this one has tho).
But it would be nice if others would give their view. It might be very different for someone else (My fiancee did share the same views on it)

Thanks guys, sounds like I will still enjoy it, and the darker tone/atmosphere I expected so it doesn't come as too much of a surprise.
Probably wasn't easy living up to the hype and greatness of the first season. I'll continue to wait for the rest of the episodes to release before jumping in.

We really need some kind of save editor for such games. It sucks to lose your save and play whole thing again if the saves are not recoverable.

Actually I
Spoiler: | only took the option to stay, because I was 100% sure I could stop Kenny from killing him Kind of like leaving the cannibals behind in season 1, I was sure that you could just leave him there shot in both kneecaps. I was really surprised how detailed the execution was! |

Spoiler: | Oh I wanted to make sure that fucker wasn't going to come back. I really don't think he's going to get up from that Loved Clems voice actor getting quite dark when I told them I was staying. |

Holy shit indeed, this episode, god damn that was intense.
MORPHINEUS wrote: | Spoiler: | Went dark as well Really don't get why most people helped that annoying girl with her chores tho. She's way too weak/naive to live in Zombie apocalypse. Thought it would help her harden up a bit, but nope. |

Spoiler: | with what happened at the end with Carlos getting shot, you might get what you want this next episode |

Well not sure if playing once all episodes are released is the better option with this one. First one I went: Can't wait!
While with this one I'm glad there is some room in between to forget some of the annoyances
Really can't see myself playing this one in one go, while the first season I did that with my second playthrough.
