Honestly, I have no idea. I live really close to my workplace so I don't need a car for that. For my work trips I can use company cars
But hey, at some point I will buy it because I'm thinking of moving also.
BUT to answer your question - I'm currently thinking about VW Gold (4+) or Mazda 3/6.

I'm still saving up money to replace the Yaris dinosaur, but I grew fond of it after all these years..

Cars just get more expensive with each new model or type
I was looking at Corolla, Cruze and Astra. Astra suits my needs and driving the most. Also, I saved a nice 3500€ with their sale
