Hey guys, haven't been keeping up with news especially cpu/mobo related. If anyone could help me out would be great. Think he mentioned he'd like to buy them from overclockers.uk or something like that.

Basically he lives in UK, has around 700 pounds to spend and would like the best that money can offer him.

I was thinking something along the lines of :

Cpu (2500k or whatever the equivalent is now, i heard the 3570k would be a good choice? 4670k or something like that not so much? (not that much OC gets hot pretty fast)) - would he also need a separate CPU cooler ?
What mobo would you recommend for this? He might OC in the future but he's not big on it
Ram - 8gb DDR3 - (haven't kept up with prices/speeds so please here too)
SSD (if possible to include it in the price but not necessary, rather have beefier components)
GPU - i recommended a 770 (he's an NVIDIA guy doesn't want to touch AMD)
PSU - he said he has a 650 tx corsair but it's kinda old so i think he'd like to replace it. Personally i got a 850 TX2 corsair , i guess another 650 TX2 would be good enough for him?
A case, nothing fancy though, just so it gets the job done.

If you can make a list on those sites and link it here, or even comment on the choices it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Smile

I'm not in the UK Smile and he basically told me he wants to buy a new PSU as well just to be safe considering his is pretty old (4 years i think he said) and wants everything new with warranty.

Thanks scaramonga, i'll wait for few more opinions if anyone chimes in, if not i'll give him that list. Looks good except the things i heard about the new 4670k i mentioned in the OP.
