It's not as bad as most people are making out, I played through it and had quite a bit of fun, but it's very "mobile" - think of it as DXHR Lite. However, I'd recommend NOT playing it for an entirely different reason; it's Episode 1 of a multi-episode series that will never be finished. Cliffhanger ending and no Episode 2 coming.

I actually want to grab State of Decay the new DLC but it has eluded me completely, I haven't seen it once on a "proper" sale. I played it some, and found it entertaining enough to want to own it, hoping that it might get multiplayer down the road, but I heard that might not happen at all.

Please, DISCONNECT your Steam account from Indiegala page, Join indiegala steam group and make your profile public ( all options ). Then CONNECT again and activate your FREE key ( you may need to click on YES button twice or more ). You can then make it private again if you want, after activating the Steam key.
not to mention you have to get like 3 emails or some shit just to join... this is the most ass-backwards free giveaway i have ever seen
